Chapter 36: New beginnings

"No...! You bastard....bring them back..!! You MONSTER!!" You kept screaming out at the...thing right in front of you. A monster..that's what it was.

As you turned your head you saw a weeping Riku holding on to a struggling Helen or 'Bloody Painter'.

Poor Dina was also near the dying man's body.

"Your gonna be okay Helen...I promise..!" Helen looked weakly into his lover's eyes.

"..it's okay Dina...let me go.."

You turned your face away from Dina who was having a breakdown, only to stare at the cause of this.

"Where are they...?! What did you do to them..!"

Before you got to see the end of your 'dream'. A voice broke through your head, ringing out your thoughts from your previous mind-space.

"Wake up..!!" Just then, you heard Isaac who was beside you shot up rather quickly.

"Where the hell were you clown...! You got y/n and me all worried sick for you..!" You heard Isaac yell in a whisper tone.

"Normally I would be flattered..but this is serous..!! We need to leave. Right. Now." Jack's tone held a firm sternness to it that made you shiver. What on earth happened at the meeting?

"Jack...what happened??" Isaac kept the conversation going, you were still in a state of sleep and consciousness all at the same time. You heard their conversation, but you weren't able to join in or move.

"No time to explain right now.....!! This is an emergency..! For you and Y/n's safety we have to go now!!" This got Isaac's attention.

"All right...where?"Jack gently grabbed your body from the mattress. Giving a sign for Isaac to follow knowing he wouldn't want him to touch him.

"Any where except here..."

Isaac's POV:

Once they exit their personal tent. They made their way to Jason's toy shop which happened to have a special door that connected to the human world.

Isaac knew where this was leading up to, but was still quite hesitant upon allowing Jack to lead them to their 'safer' destination.

"Jack...you better explain exactly what's going on once we're in the clear....!" He huffed out in annoyance. The clown only turned back to look at Isaac, seeing that he was in a state of shock or even panic.

Jack took notice and made a mental note to check up on him once they were both far from the place that Candy Pop had control over.

"Of course.."

"Nathan, don't be a brat!"Jason yelled out to the top of the stairs where the master bedroom was.

Nathan had gotten annoyed at Jason once more after hearing about the news on this 'plan' Candy Pop conducted.

"Shut up Jason..!!" The once quiet male had become much louder than before.

"Nathan I swear I will drag your sorry ass down here if you don't cooperate!!"

Nathan only huffed from inside Jason's bedroom, tears of frustration building up. Letting out a shaky sigh he reminisced on how long he's been here, and how he got there.

Jason sighed once he heard the man's shaky breath, and hesitantly made his way to his bedroom door. He knocked once while remaining patient when Nathan refused to answer or unlock the door. He layer down back facing the door mirroring Nathan as he was doing the same.

"...Nathan we have to leave." Nathan only sighed once again, but this time it was because he knew Jason was right.

"I know...."

"Can you unlock the door? It'll be much easier to talk like that." Nathan begrudgingly opened the door only to be pushed down by the toy maker. He let out a noise of protest before he was shushed.

"Let me comfort you to the best of my abilities..I only know that physical affection helps for some. I know you're one of those people just by how needy you are. You're so touch deprived that you cuddle up to me when we sleep sometimes, though I never told you since I thought you wouldn't care to know something that was 'embarrassing' for you." Nathan groaned in embarrassment. He didn't seem to realize just how observant the red headed toy maker truly was.

"We should...probably go....right?" Jason shook his head before laying it in the crook of Nathan's neck.

"Not yet..just give me a second and I'll be done." Nathan just wrapped his arms around the other male, giving up that he was gonna get out of this anytime soon.

That was until a certain bunch decided to barge in.

"Uhh, are we catching you both at the wrong time?" A certain clown spoke out amused at the two who were found cuddled up on the floor of their tent.

"No. We were actually just about to leave." The toymaker was completely unbothered at the fact other people saw him cuddled up to the quiet male, meanwhile Nathan was a blushing mess feeling quite awkward knowing other people saw him in such a vulnerable state.

"That's good! Guess we should get going then? If the others are here of course." Jason only sighed, probably due to annoyance.

"Yeah..are you positive we should all go together?" The clown nodded, clearly sure with his answer.

Meanwhile while those two were chatting. Isaac who was now holding you leaned his head down to try and wake you up, you retaliated by groaning.

He laughed a bit before gently placing you on your feet, holding you up just in case you were still partially asleep.

"Babe..wanna wake up?" He kissed the top of your head before proceeding. "Beautiful?" Butterflies.

"Morning handsome~" You were still dazed, this made Isaac chuckle a bit.

"Morning beautiful." You were shocked the both of you weren't technically even dating yet. You didn't want to ask him in fear that he was only being a flirt by nature..and you didn't want it to be awkward...

"Are you two done flirting?" Jack found you both to be very cute! Though it was strange how strong his feeling were for Isaac and y/n, though he wasn't quite sure what those feelings were. He didn't know if he felt this way because of Isaac or if it was because they were all separated for so long.

"I'm here~!!!" A childlike voice rang out through the tent. You knew immediately that is was Riku the only child here...

"Guess I'm here to." Another voice rang out that sounded pissed off. Must be Frankie..

"I'mmmmmmm hereeeee!!" Oh! That's Papa Grande..how many people are leaving? What's going on..?

You turned your head to Isaac who looked just as confused as you. Apparently he was just as clueless as you.

"Sorry if we're late..Helen decided to sleep in a bit longer.." Dina!!

"Is that everyone?" Jason still looked annoyed that everyone was coming...everyone but..wait!

"What about Candy Pop? What happened??" Jack cringed upon hearing the jester's name, and leaned down to your ear to whisper.

"I'll tell you and Isaac later..for now we HAVE to leave..." This sounded urgent..

"Okay..." Both you and Isaac were still skeptical about this whole thing. It was strange how panicked everyone looked, though some didn't necessarily show it as much as the others did.

Jason opened the blue door for everyone to exit.

And just like that...everything changed.
