Over time, Serafina and I had developed an incredibly strong bond, to the extent that whenever she experienced intense emotions, I found myself pulled into her thoughts, experiencing things through her perspective. So, I was there alongside Fina when she found herself in a room with four men. The one Remo introduced as Nino caught my attention; he exuded an undeniable charm with his captivating gray eyes. However, that detail was insignificant because these men were our adversaries. They had abducted my sister, my closest confidante.

I also overheard the way Remo talked about me, and it ignited an intense desire within me to smash his head against the wall. While I appreciated Fina standing up for me, I couldn't help but feel she should prioritize her own safety a bit more. Prodding our captors is the type of reckless behavior I would typically engage in, not her.

I felt a surge of satisfaction witnessing their astonishment when they discovered the small package I had personally delivered to their gaming room. Breaking into their mansion had been surprisingly effortless. Currently, I found myself holed up in a modest house I had rented for the next few days or weeks, depending on how my plan unfolds.

As I drifted into a much-needed slumber, attempting to overcome my jet lag, I was abruptly thrust into Fina's harrowing ordeal. She found herself trapped in a dingy cellar, confronted by a despicable individual demanding she disrobe. The raw fear coursing through her veins sent shivers down my spine as well. If I had been there, I would have swiftly dismantled the brute and fed his remains to a lion. However, paralyzed by distance, all I could do was watch helplessly, consumed by fear for Fina's safety.

For the first time in my life, I felt a sense of relief wash over me as Remo burst into the room, his face twisted in anger. He swiftly silenced the moron by slashing his throat, causing blood to spatter across the room. Fina began to succumb to a panic attack amidst the chaos. Remo, recognizing the urgency, scooped up the trembling Fina, naked and vulnerable, and tenderly wrapped her in a towel before swiftly carrying her towards the safety of the mansion.

As I regained awareness, I found myself back in my own house, a surge of determination flooding through me. I knew without a doubt that I had to get Fina out of there as quickly as possible. There were no other options. I couldn't bear the idea of her enduring such horrors again.

Throughout the entire night, I wrestled with ideas on how to free Fina. The following morning, around midday, I received a video call from an unknown number. Initially hesitant, I was about to decline when a message from Samuel appeared, urging me to answer as it concerned Fina.

Swiftly, I threw on a black turtleneck and accepted the call. The video displayed the Falcone brothers, accompanied by Fina, who was dressed in a silver nightgown.

" I'm so glad you could all make it." Remo said in a very fake British accent. It made him sound posh though.

" Serafina in Las Vegas women get a choice."

" Don't you dare" I could hear Samuel hiss.

"They can pay for their sins either with pleasure or pain."

"You have no right to judge people sin" Serafina whispered.

All i could see was red. I'm gonna hunt every last one of them and I'll make sure they regret they were even born.

He implored Fina to decide between enduring torture or relinquishing her body. As she locked eyes with me, I instantly discerned her intended action. I am certain that her chosen path will inflict less harm upon her than the alternative.

“I will choose the bite of cold steel over the touch of your unworthy hands any day, Remo Falcone.” Fina said with an arrogant smile.

Remo looked taken aback. That's for underestimating us women you fucking asshole. I screamed in my head.

" I'll enjoy your screams."

"And I'll enjoy bleeding you out." I spoke for the first time since the call started.

Men from both the Camorra and the outfit laughed.

" Your friend here passed out at the sight of blood. I'm sure you're no better." Savio said mockingly.

Serafina was adept at manipulation. As she drew Remo's knife toward her wrist, I noticed the scar on Remo's wrist and instantly understood her intentions. Although the cut he made drew blood, it wasn't as deep as the ones he typically inflicted.

Fina's father shouted for Remo to cease. If the wound were inflicted upon me, I wouldn't bear it as terribly, ignoring the pain. However, Fina had to bite her lip to stifle her scream, causing her lips to bleed.

My attention was captivated by Nino, who gazed at Serafina's hand with a haunted expression. Afterward, he glanced at Remo before returning his focus to the screen. When our eyes connected, he instantly realized that I had noticed his reaction.

Unable to bear watching any longer, I ended the call and retreated to bed, overwhelmed by the image of Fina cradling her bloodied arms. Strangely, Nino's expression lingered in my mind. This cycle had to end. I needed to prove my seriousness about the threat I had sent them.
