Cornith, Greece (real place, but looks pretty warm and tropical. In this book it is not lol) this is where the Moirai or "the fates" live. They also hang around Zeus a lot irl. But idek if I wanna touch the whole Zeus thing haha.

Moirai or "The Fates" are daughters of Nyx, but in later texts it's said they came from Zeus and Themis

Moirai or "The Fates" are daughters of Nyx, but in later texts it's said they came from Zeus and Themis.
The Moirai are described to be made up of three sisters "Clotho, the youngest of the sisters, presided over the moment in which we are born, and held a distaff in her hand; Lachesis spun out all the events and actions of our life; and Atropos, the eldest of the three, cut the thread of human life with a pair of scissors" - google. Through research I've discovered there's a difference of opinion on whether "the fates" ruled over only human lives or if it was both human and divine. In some articles they are described to be above gods and human. While other articles say that Zeus ruled over them. I'm honestly going to take my own spin on all of this.

Clotho: (I'm calling her Clover) the sister who is known as the "spinner" who is responsible for the moment one is born

Clotho: (I'm calling her Clover) the sister who is known as the "spinner" who is responsible for the moment one is born. She makes the golden thread of life. (Think Hercules. Those old women.) This power gives her control over who is born, when they are born, and can even resurrect people.

Lachesis: (I'm calling her Lakia ) is responsible for measuring life

Lachesis: (I'm calling her Lakia ) is responsible for measuring life. Some say she determines Destiny. It is said she appears three days after a baby is born to decide its fate.

Atropos: (I'm calling her Opaline) the sister responsible deciding when a life ends

Atropos: (I'm calling her Opaline) the sister responsible deciding when a life ends. She cuts the thread of life that Clotho spins. She is the oldest and known as the "inflexible one". She is also in charge of deciding the manor in which one dies.
