Naturally, this ragtag exploration teams didn't have any particularly deep friendships with their teammates.

But losing nearly one-third of them all at once still made the survivors extremely depressed.

The atmosphere inside the dark cave was silent and solemn.

Someone sobbed in the communications system: "Poor Amber..."

No one responded to him, he quickly fell silent.

In the this short period of time, everyone tried to calm their breathing and regain their strength.

During this process, the whistle of the wind coming from the entrance of the cave where several people had entered became increasingly sharp, many pieces of gravel were carried by the air current and shot out from the entrance of the cave. Several people had to move because of this. To make matters worse, in such short time, light that had been faintly visible just then now disappeared completely.

Inside the cave, only the lights of their helmets provided a hazy yellow light.

No one dared imagine what the storm outside looked like now.

Lin Xi glanced at the frightened people and sighed silently.

The only person who wasn't showing any uneasiness was probably Francis beside him.

Ever since the others entered the cave, Francis seemed unusually silent. Lin Xi couldn't help but glance at him from time to time. The other person's pale, dead face gave Lin Xi a bad feeling.

However, when faced with Lin Xi's whispered inquiries, Francis's replies were so slow and stiff.

But as long as Lin Xi looked away, the latter's extremely focused gaze would accurately fall on him.

Lin Xi became increasingly unsure of this man's attitude.

What a mysterious guy...

Lin Xi couldn't help but think so.

His body still felt very weak, the exhaustion caused by the previous rush made him involuntarily relax and lean against the rock wall.

But soon, Lin Xi sat up straight, he turned sideways and reached out to press his palms on the cold wall.

Then his brows furrowed tight.

They were in the safety of the underground cave, but Lin Xi could still vaguely feel subtle tremors through the thick and cold stone.

"What should we do next?"

Lin Xi turned his head to look at Jerry and asked.

"I have no idea."

He got this answer.

Jerry raised the terminal in his hand. He looked at it for a while and shook his head: "We have no way of contacting the outside world. The storm is trapping us here. Everyone, check your equipment and report back to me. If conditions permit, we have no choice but to stay in this hellhole till the storm passes."

He said.

"Are you sure?"

Lin Xi continued.

He pointed at the rock wall next to him: "I think we should probably walk further into the cave. I don't think this place is very stable."

After a pause, Lin Xi added: "There aren't even any bugs in here."

"I think that the lack of bugs... might be a good thing for us?"

Someone muttered besides Lin Xi.

"But we clearly saw those bugs swarming here. This cave is shelter. If this place really is safe, they should be here. But right now we can't even spot a shadow of them."
