The wooden floorboards creak underneath my footsteps as I walk down the abandoned hallway, my flashlight swinging back and forth in front of me. The cold air from the hallway seeps through my already wet cold clothes, making me shiver. I'm almost at the end of the hallway when I see a door on my left. I stop and stand in front of it. I place my hand on the doorknob and twist it open. I let my eyes adjust to the darkness, finally I see what's in the room. A scream of terror erupts from my throat. My body freezes itself as I stare at the hanged corpse of one of my friends.--------------------Think about this: What do you think will happen when 100 passengers crash land on an abandoned island and only 8 survive. OK so you're gonna think I'm crazy but I had this dream (I'm talking about real me not the reader I know its a descriptions and anyway shush) where I basically became a ghost cause a Sans took my soul, but anyway since I'm obsessed with Ink Sans and whatever in the dream and had a crush on him in it (I know I'm weird) its gonna be the head-cannon in the story :T And that will be why its in the fan-fiction category. But the main gist of it is your a stranded soul/ghost where you can't talk to anyone but you can try, you can move things slightly and you can only talk to the soulless. (Example: Ink has no soul so I can speak to him but people might thinks he's crazy talking to someone who is believed to be in a coma and whatever) Anyway all will be explained in the story!~ - Cover is by me, thats why it doesn't look professional or good :T

On the first day of his new job, he's more than excited to hop into one of the many boats, tethered on the docks of the Nuku Marine Life Research Institute. Unfortunately, being the new kid on the block in a sea of men and women who have been studying the waves for twice as long as him puts him at the bottom of the totem. As a result, he's assigned to a team who studies the coral reefs so he can first "get acquainted with the waters." While diving through the colorful underwater vegetation and swarms of tropical fish, he begins to see the shadows of a creature he is unfamiliar with. His curiosity is ignited as he subtly spends each day searching for the large fish, which always finds a way to dodge his presence. When he gets an opportunity to board a boat with an open ocean research team, he doesn't hesitate to take it. But for better or worse, a suddenly forming storm insures that he won't be going back to the institute any time soon. All he can do is keep his head above the towering waves and hope he doesn't drown.
