Star's POV:

"You guys are making a mistake", Marco said. "Maybe... But it could be fun! Besides, I've been waiting for an excuse to do this with Comet!", I said, holding two identical dresses. "Here you go Comet." I gave one of the dresses to her. She took it and left for the bathroom to change there.

"Why don't you just stay here, where it's always fun? Like... guaranteed", Marco reasoned. "Well, this is a different kind of fun", I argued. I pressed on a button of the interdimensional mirror, which converted it into a three-panel divider. "Don't look, I'm gonna change!", I called out to Marco. "I just don't trust Tom. Maybe I should go with you", he said. "Marco, you weren't invited", I told him, putting on the link dress, "Besides, you gotta trust us to do the right thing for our-seeeeeeeelves!" "Are you okay?", Marco asked alarmed. "Yeaaaah, totally, totally, totally. I just gotta stop using magic on... on... on my face", I mumbled.

I looked into the mirror. While the magic blast maybe wasn't the smartest idea, it had been effective. My hair was now in a top knot. I grabbed the white boots next to me to put them on. "All I'm saying is guys like Tom never change", Marco said. "Well, there's only way for me to find out", I replied, and pushed the divider away, "What do you think?"

Marco pushed his big hat away from his face. "You look... amazing", he said. "Thanks, Marco!"

Comet knocked on the door and entered, wearing the same dress and hairstyle as I. "Ah! Comet!", I gushed, pulling her next to me to the mirror, "now we look truly identical!" Marco walked up to us, looking over our shoulders into the mirror. "Woah... from behind you two look like copies of each other. Only your cheek thingies and eyes are the features that keep you two apart", he noted. "Well, we can't really help the eyes", I shrugged, "but I did get some make up from Jackie! She told me I could have it since she never uses it anyways."

"Wait-wait-wait. You talked to Jackie Lynn Thomas!? When?", Marco asked with wide eyes. I smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know." I then showed Comet the different things Jackie gave me. "You're the artist, and Jackie said it's like painting, just that you do it on your face. So you do it", I told her. "What? But I don't even know half of what the names of these are... I mean... this kinda looks like it's the color of your skin", she said, holding a tube of something against my face. "Alright, then let's use that."

Comet took out a clean paint palette and soft brush from her shelf. "This is definitely not how this is done", she mumbled, as she used the brush to put on the make up. I giggled and moved away from the tickling sensation. "Star, sit still", Comet scolded me. "I can't help it", I giggled, but tried to stay as still as possible. When she was finally done with me, Comet put the make up on her face too. We turned to Marco. "Woah, okay, now you look truly identical!", he let out.

Comet and I smiled at each other, and I got out the bell and hammer Tom had given me. "Don't go", Marco whispered. I grinned at him. "We're totally going", I whispered back, and used the skull hammer on the bell. A deep gong resonated throughout the room, and I heard an elevator ding by our balcony. Comet and I, followed by Marco went outside to see a small elevator car carried by a red winged demon. It dinged open and lowered a short drawbridge to out balcony. "Mmm. Smells like burnt toast", I said, and Comet and I entered the elevator. "Let's get this show on the road!"

"Which floor, mortals?", the demon asked us. "Uh, I guess the bottom", I answered. "Let me just ride down with you" Marco tried getting into the elevator, but I kicked him away. "Goodbye, Marco. See you after the Blooooood Moooooon Baaaall. Ooooh..." The doors of the elevator were finally completely shut, and I let myself fall back on the seat. "Ugh", I groaned.
