y/n / Strax pov

The dragons and riders had finally arrived at the arena along with the cat. They had all lined up next to one another, the riders looked confused as to why they were here but the dragons looked excited, especially Stormfly.

Hiccup : "why are we here Strax? We have to get ready to travel to the new island."

Fishlegs : "yeah! I need to finish packing up meatlugs food."

As he said that, I pulled the cat in front of me who already knew what i was going to ask him to do.

y/n / Strax : "tell them that i've some training for them to do before they even consider traveling there."

Palico : "*sigh* fine but you're getting me more fish for this. Hot wings says that they want to train you guys before you head to where we come from."

Snotlout : "training!? We don't need training! We kick dragon hunter butt all the time!"

As he says that I lightly chuckle making the other dragons and riders tense up slightly with confused expressions on their faces.

y/n / Strax : "the "difference" is that monster hunters hunt much more powerful, and much larger creatures then the hunters ever thought about hunting. If you ever came into contact with them or Fatalis forbid another monster you would all be quickly killed."

As I say that the palico translates it to them prompting a variety of different reactions, though it seems they didn't fully believe me. However, just as I was about to speak again Hiccup beat me to it.

Hiccup : "Come on guys, Strax knows this area better than any of us plus a bit of training couldn't hurt could it?"

As he says that most of the dragons and riders agree albeit some of them looked slightly upset, mainly the twins and Snotlout.

y/n / Strax : "Well then if everyone is on board then let us begin your training. This will be fun~"

As i said that i activated my jets making the other riders and dragons increasingly nervous.

y/n / Strax : "alright follow me through the course and try not to get killed."

Everyone : "WHAT!?"

As soon as I said that I rocketed off into the air and started the course while the others quickly followed, or at least they attempted to.

Stormfly pov

The others had flown off after y/n and I was standing next to Steve watching as the others went. The cat explained that Steve was going to train me and Astrid for the time being and so Steve gestured for us to follow him and flew into the forest and I followed along with Astrid and the cat. Eventually we landed in a more open part of the forest with taller trees.

Stormfly : "why did we come out here? Shouldn't we be back at the arena?"

Steve : "*yawn* While I'm sure that would work this will be much easier. Besides, you're not always going to have perfect conditions so the closer we can get to where me, y/n and Ama used to live the better."

Stormfly : "I know that, we've dealt with a lot of different conditions over the years."

As I said that Steve chuckled a bit as the cat translated what he said making me slightly concerned at his reaction but i quickly shook it off.
