It has been a week since the fireworm invasion was quelled and things have been interesting to say the least... Meatlug had told me about a new species of dragon that the dragon riders deemed the "catastrophic quaken" which was bullying some gronckle's on an island called dark deep. I had decided to stay behind and rest that day because I was tired from herding the fireworms to their new rest stop along their migration route. When I woke up today the dragon riders and their dragons were gone. I looked around the edge for them and they were nowhere to be seen, not even the twins or Meatlug and Fishlegs were where they usually were.

y/n : surely they hadn't abandoned the edge. If they were going to, they would have said something... maybe something came up. "Am i really about to go and search for them?"

After a moment of silence I let out a small sigh as I began to fly up into the sky, eventually I picked up their scent and begun following it, rocketing off in the direction of their scent.

The dragon riders and I had gone to Berk to get some supplies for the edge.

Hiccup : "Ok gang, we're only taking absolute necessities to dragons edge."

As hiccup says that fishlegs protectively holds a large amount of rocks in his arms.

Snotlout : "Hahaha, aww i guess we're leaving you behind fishlegs."

Fishlegs : "oh come on snotlout, you're better than that. Oh wait, no your not."

As he says that fishlegs puts the rocks he was carrying into some large bags meatlug has attached to her saddle on either side. However the added weight of the rocks weigh meatlug down as she tries to fly prompting fishlegs to help her.

Fishlegs : "Come on girl you can do it, lift with your legs."

Hiccup : "fishlegs..."

Fishlegs : "what? Berk granite has a nicer finish, and trust me you want the nicer finish

Hookfang : "for all our sakes..."

After that the twins were... testing? Some new maces by hitting each other on the head as hard as they can, making them wobble as they try to keep themselves upright from the impact.

Tuffnut : "OW! Not bad, that's two do it again!"

As tuffnut says that ruffnut jumps up and slams the mace down onto tuffnuts head making him stumble and almost fall before he catches himself.

Hookfang : "remind me again why we need them?"

Toothless : "Because they are a valuable member of our team."

Tuffnut : "ohh. Yeah three! I still think we can do better."

Ruffnut : "Yes we can!!!"

As she says that ruffnut cracks tuffnut in the head once again making him spin around and knocking his helmet off. After he recovered from the initial impact he wobbled from side to side barely able to keep his feet underneath him.

Tuffnut : "uh yea, that is a four... yep, one, two, three, four..."

After tuffnut said that he almost immediately falls to the ground.

Ruffnut : "Ill tag it and bag it."

Hookfang : "you were saying?"

As hookfang says that i look away from the twins making him chuckle to himself, and shortly after tuffnut tries to speak but all that ends up coming out are garbled and barely understandable words as the Stoic walks down some stairs with Gobber, Bucket and Mulch.

Stoic : "all right, which one of the usual suspects was out sinking ships last night with their dragon? I have my suspicions."

Hiccup : "sinking boats?"

Stoic : "Bucket and Mulch saw the whole thing, and don't try convincing me that there's anyone else in the archipelago who could pull something like this off!! Well? I'm waiting."

Upon hearing this the gang and i all glance at each other skeptically.

tuffnut : " it was me chief!!! I couldn't control myself, I had to do it! What's wrong with me?! Why didn't anyone stop me? Can't anyone see that it's just a desperate cry for help?!"

As tuffnut says this he walks over on his knees to Stoic who looks... unhappy and slightly annoyed.

Ruffnut : "what are you talking about? None of that happened!"

Tuffnut : "I know that, I just always wanted to confess to something. How'd i do? I didn't overplay, did i?"

Ruffnut : "yeah, i mean overall i think you seemed grounded but, still was a little hard to believe."

Hiccup : "the truth is is that we've been together all morning"

Snotlout : "well not ALL of us..."

Stoic : "And who pray tell that would be snotlout?"

Tuffnut : "oh, him."

As tuffnut says that he points out to the sea where a crimson glow appears to be getting closer and closer with the sounds of jets zooming towards us. Within seconds y/n lands close to the group and turns off their jets.

Gobber : "what in thors name is that thing?!"

Hiccup : "that would be a new dragon we discovered that we call a valstrax... he doesn't have a name though."

Tuffnut : "STRAX!!!"

Stoic : "Strax ey? Bucket, Mulch, was this the dragon who attacked the ship?"

Mulch : "it looks kinda like it but it's way too big stoic!"

Bucket : "aye! And it's not sharp enough!!!"

Stoic : "Well if it wasn't one of you or your new friend here then i'd say we have a MUCH more serious problem on our hands."

Astrid : "rogue dragon rider?"

Fishlegs : "not good, not good at all..."

Hiccup : "Yeah, and we need to find out who it is."
