Jade Leywin POV

We exited the teleportation gate Windsom conjured and found ourselves in Zestier specifically inside the elven royal palace

"Arthur, Jade!" mom was the first to notice us and immediately rushed and caught us in a tight hug

"You're finally here! We were so worried when Mai and Tess told us you were taken by the Lances" she shouted

"We just had some things to discuss with the Council mom" I downplayed

"We're just glad both of you are fine" dad said as he approached us, I could see some dark circles under his eyes, they must have stayed up all night

"Sorry for worrying you again" I said

"You both should be sorry!" Ellie yelled as she headbutted Art in the stomach

"Who is this gentleman?" mom asked noticing Windsom

"About that, there's something I have to tell you" Art told her

"You're back!" Mai and Tess saw us and run up to us Mai slamming into me and Tess into Art as they hugged us

"Let's all sit down so we can have a proper talk" mom remarked and we all headed to the living room where we explained everything we discussed with the Council

"NO, NO, NO ABSOLUTELY NOT, YOU WILL NOT SEND MY CHILDREN TO WAR!" after we finished explaining everything mom got up and started yelling furious at Windsom, damn she's actually yelling in the face of an asura

"Mom, it's something I have to do" Art told her

"No, you're only a kid Arthur, you can't go and fight in a war!" she retorted

"The Vritra aren't going to go spare kids mom, Art can become a lot stronger with this training, strong enough to fight back" I argued

"But it shouldn't be your job, you're kids you should go to school, go out with your friends, spend time with your family" she started crying

"Yeah, it shouldn't be our job but this is what we have to deal with like it or not the Vritra aren't going to stop" I told her

"Besides we're hardly kids" Art added

"What are you saying Arthur you're 12 of course you're still a kid, I know at your age you don't want to be called that but..." mom started saying

"That's not what I meant" Art interrupted her and stared at me

"You want to tell them right?" I asked

"Yeah but only if you're fine, you're the one who'll have it worse afterall" he replied

"What do you want to tell us?" dad asked confused

"Windsom can I talk to my family alone please?" Art addressed Windsom

"I'll wait outside, take your time you're not going to see them for quite some time" he said before going out, closing the door behind him

"There's something we need to tell you, something we kept secret for all our lives" I declared as I snapped my fingers, conjuring the strongest soundproofing barrier I could, nothing can go past this barrier, well not without blowing up half of the castle

"You can tell us anything Jade" dad said

"Should we leave as well?" Mai asked, gesturing for herself and Tess, most likely knowing what we were about to tell them

"No this is something you two should know as well" Art told her

We all sat down on the couches again Art and I facing our parents and Tess, Mai noticing I was trembling opted for sitting beside me holding my hand and I was very grateful for this, luckily Ellie fell asleep as we where recounting everything that happened at the flying castle and I already casted a spell to make sure she wouldn't hear anything, we'll tell her one day but right now I don't think she would be able to understand I know she figures it out on her own in the novel but that only happens later when she's older
