Chapter 71 - Bataan revealed

It was during their coffee date that Jason mentioned that he wanted to spend time with her this weekend, sa beach. They were planning on where to go when Jason saw Paolo Ballesteros IG post of a video with the caption 'Kailan kaya maulit ito maganda ang lugar na ito e'

And just like that Jason told Maine that he wants to go visit that place. Maine didn't mind as Alden is abroad working naman and so she called the caretaker to let them know and they know the drill and what to do. 

Weekend came and, after EB they started the long drive to Bataan, she fell asleep and woke up in time kasi malapit na sila sa lugar. They were with Dean and other friends plus Maines' team, treat na rin nya para makapag relax na rin. The gates were opened by the caretaker and they were treated with a late dinner. They were all too tired because of the long drive and decided to call it the night early after drinking a few wine and few talks sa may bonfire. Everyone slept early and decided that they will hit the beach early morning and have the whole day for other activities.

The next day came, Maine woke up early and wanted to see the sunrise, she was seating by the beach sand and was watching the sunrise when she felt someone hug her from behind and said his good morning, it was Jason. They both watched the sunrise quietly and decided to a quiet walk before they take their breakfast. Everyone was awake when they reached the rest house. They all ate and hit the beach and had fun in the sun. It was during their lunch that the caretaker approached Maine to inform that there was a visitor. She stood up and walked to the drive way and saw that Daddy Bae was alighting his vehicle with his driver. Maine was surprised and so is Daddy Bae. They hugged each other at nag kamustahan. While this is happening Jason saw this from the terrace and he knows that Maine is talking to Alden's father but why is he here that is the question he has in his mind. 

Daddy Bae, told Maine that he just visited the place as bilin ni Alden and that he is scheduled to talk to her to transfer the ownership to her already 'bilin kasi ni RJ na ibigay na sayo ang full ownership at kunin ko yun mga naiwan na gamit na pwede dalhin sa Batangas rest house, pasensya di na ako nagkapagsabi in advance naka istorbo pa ata ako sa inyo'

Di naman Dad (she fondly calls him) kumain na po ba kayo? may food dyan kumain muna kayo - Maine

Naku oo kumain na kami di na ako nakatiis nag stop over kami para kumain tsaka konti lang naman yun pinapakuha ni RJ tsaka para di rin kami gabihin pabalik at hahanapin ako ni Angel - Daddy Bae

Ganun po ba sige po, balikan ko po kayo later asikasuhin ko lang mga bisita ko. - Maine

While on her way, Maine was thinking of what Daddy Bae told her - transfer full ownership to her ang rest house. Alam nya na favorite to ni Alden why is he giving this up? Her thoughts broke her to reality when Jason asked her 'Bakit andito father ni Alden?' 

Maine was surprised and she does not plan to hide the truth which is why she answered in all honesty - kukunin nya mga gamit ni RJ.....ni Alden.

Gamit ni Alden, bakit may gamit sya dito? - Jason

We own this place, we bought this place. But after talking to his dad just now, it seems that I am now the owner of this place - Maine

What do you mean? This is a shared property between you and Alden? Bakit ngayon ko lang nalalaman ito? So may shared property pala kayo? (very pissed already). Do you even plan on telling me about this? - Jason

We acquired this property noong kasagsagan ng AlDub days namin, it was an investment and I didn't plan on hiding it as a secret. I planned to tell you about it, timing lang naman ang kailangan ko and I think this was the timing that I was looking for pero not this way at isa pa I would now be sole owner of the property now, Alden will not be in the picture - Maine

Kahit na, kung hindi pa dumating dito daddy niya di ko pa malalaman? Ano ito Maine? - Jason

I am sorry that you have to find it out this way. But believe me balak ko rin sabihin sayo while we are here, na di tayo aalis dito ng di ko nasasabi sayo that was the plan, napaaga lang ng revelation and I don't blame dad for that - Maine

Wow and you call Alden's father dad too? (sarcasm evident in his tone) - Jason

Jason pati ba naman yun, big deal sayo? Sinabi ko naman sayo that Alden will always be a part of what I have become in this business, it comes with the package but I never rubbed it in your face I respected you that much sana nakita mo yon at nakikita mo di ba? - Maine

At this point, they are being heard by other people that Dean needs to step in. Ate, aalis na sina Daddy Richard, babain mo muna. Dean had to use Daddy to emphasize that he too calls Alden's father daddy para iparating na it was normal for them as they have become close family friends pero hindi ganito and dating kay Jason. 

Maine said her goodbye to Daddy Bae and hugged her and whispered 'sorry anak di ako nagpasabi na darating ako today sorry at naging cause pa ako ng away ninyo. Last na ito anak pasensya sa abala' Lalo lamang humigpit ang akap ni Maine at nagsabi 'di po kayo dapat mag sorry  okey lang po'

Okay ka lang ba? - Daddy Bae

Ayos lang po ako Dad, ingat po kayo at ikamusta niyo po ako kina Lola Linda at Papa - Maine

At tuluyan ng umalis si Daddy Bae with his driver. Maine went back and found that Jason was not there and Dean told her that Jason took a walk to cool off. She just let him be, mamaya na lang niya kakausapin pag malamig na ulo.

Bakit nga pala andito sina Daddy Richard? - Dean

May mga kinuhang gamit ni RJ tsaka sinabi na itttransfer na ownership nitong rest house sa akin ng buo - Maine

Talaga? Kakagulat ha, paboritong lugar to ni Kuya RJ di ba? - Dean

Yon din di ko maintindihan - Maine

Pero sa isang banda mas okay na rin dahil kinakain ng selos si Jason. Kaya kausapin mo yun baka kung anong gawin nun lakas ng insecurity mayaman naman hehehe - Dean

She would really need to talk to Jason and come clean and tell him everything. Ang tanong kayanin kaya niya mga malalaman niya?
