Chapter 64 - Tuloy lang

After that incident, life continues for both Maine and Alden. They work together in EB and separate projects after. Hence, Alden tried his best to distance himself from Maine. He even makes excuses kung bakit di siya nag stay sa common dressing room nila sa APT, it was the ALDUB dressing room na ginawa talaga for them with their memorabilia from KalyeSerye. Di na lang pinapansin ni Menggay pero at the back of her mind may tanong to ng bakit?

Little did Alden know, may isang tao ang nakapansin nito - Si Bossing. He was just observing and noticed Alden's demeanor. And during their break time sa common dressing room while Maine was rehearsing sa stage with the other Dabarkads, Bossing asked Alden.

Richard, akala ko ba magaling kang actor? - Bossing

Bossing? - Alden

Oh wag mag maangmaangan, kita kita. Bakit ka naiwas? - Bossing

Nagulat si Alden sa tanong ni Bossing. Siya ang taong close sa kanilang dalawa bukod kina Tito Sen and Henyo Master Joey. Di nya alam kung ano ang isasagot niya, yun totoo ba? Maintindahan ba niya ako?

In confidence, Alden shared what happened and the reason why he avoids Menggay. And he understands. He only few things to say to him.

Pag dating talaga kay Menggay di ka magaling na actor. Kung ako naramdaman ko sa tingin mo ba di niya nararamdaman? Give the girl credit, she is smart. Although pagdating sa love medyo sablay, but she is stubborn, hard headed. Hanggang kailan mo balak gawin ang pag iwas? YOu cannot forever be like that. For all you know you are hurting the person all the more instead of protecting her. You have to decide on what you need to do it cannot be like that dahil di magtatagal makakahalata yan, and I am sure she is already sensing it. I understand where you are coming from and I know nahihirapan ka rin. I know you love the girl and you are being a gentleman. Pero di mo maisasalba kahit man lang ang friendship ninyo kung ganyan. You work and see each other everyday and there will be times na di mo na siya maiiwasan at pag dumating ang araw na yun magkakasakitan kayo. Better have a definite plan Richard. And I know matalinong tao ka. That's just a piece of my mind. Hindi kayo iba sa akin para ko na kayong mga anak. - Bossing

Alam ko naman Bossing and I appreciate it po na you look after us. Wag ka po mag alala I already have a plan and alam ko naman na maiintindihan niyo po kung bakit ko yun gagawin. It is a huge decision pero sa growth naman namin pareho. Wag kang mag alala Bossing konting panahon na lang tapos mag uusap tayo ulit. Salamat po sa paalala, don't worry Bossing magiging okay naman na. - Alden

After that conversation mas lalong naging decided si Alden sa plan niya. He just needs to finalize everything.

Days and months passed by as normal. There was one time that a typhoon hit Metro Manila and everyone was stranded. The Metro was flooded and people in APT was not able to go home and worried about their families. TVJ were able to get home ahead and are safe home. JoWaPao, Maine and Alden was stranded in APT. Pinauwi ni Alden si Mama Ten ng maaga sa Laguna to be with his family. Alden checked his family and everyone is safe. Maine did the same and informed Nanay and Tatay that she is at APT while Dean is in her house. They need to stay at APT until the storm passed. The rain was heavy, the thunderstorm and lightning is mind blowing. Everyone prayed for safety. 

Jason called Maine to ask where she is and was told that she is stranded but safe in APT and may need to sleepover, pahupain lang ang ulan at baha. Maine told him kung sino sino mga kasama niya sa APT as she feels that he needs to know. On the other line, si Jason inaatake na naman ng insecurity nya or selos niya and insists that he will try to get her and brave the flood and the storm. Maine had to convince him that it will not safe for him and it is okay that she is in APT rather than be stranded somewhere. Kung alam mo lang Maine, selos na selos na si Jason kasi magkasama kayo ni Alden sa APT.
