This past week has been tough. I lost a classmate to suicide on Wednesday and it has shaken the entire school. I didn't know him very well but I do know that he was a very nice boy and he didn't deserve to go like that. This has made me realize how fragile life is and that you always need to be looking out for yourself and others. If you see someone being bullied, PLEASE SAY SOMETHING!!!! I PROMISE IT HELPS!

If someone had said something for Kegan, he would still be here today. Bullying is never okay in any situation for any reason. Words hurt more than you will ever know. Please be kind to everything, always, no matter how you feel about them inside.

If you pray, please keep Kegan and his family and friends and my community in your prayers as we cope with this tragic loss. No one should ever have to feel so bad that you only see one way out. If you are having negative thoughts, PLEASE SEEK HELP! I PROMISE YOU HAVE A PURPOSE ON THIS EARTH EVEN IF YOU DON'T SEE IT RIGHT NOW!

This book is dedicated to Kegan and his memory. Rest in peace, Kegan, hope to see you smiling up in heaven some day. 🕊️🕊️
