- Jacob is simply the best

- like even before you begin dating he's very sweet

- tries his hardest to not come off aggressive and creepy

- and more like hi i think you're cool if you think the same pls text me if not no hard feelings

- at first he would try really hard to woo you

- for your first date he goes all out

- he picks you up and brings you red roses and takes you to this really fancy and exclusive restaurant in Vancouver

- gets you some expensive wine and some truly decadent food

- and then you just talk the entire night

- he's such a good listener

- and he's actually interested in the things you're saying

- because at the end of the day he just wants to be a nice guy

- of course he insists on paying since he took you to the expensive restaurant

- and if you want to pay part of it he tells you you can pay for the next date

- obviously he pays for your second date too

- with his schedule the innitial dating phase is not exactly easy

- because he's away a lot but he also doesn't want to rush you into things

- so it takes a while before you become serious

- he'd definitely skip out of a summer in sweden just so he can stay in Vancouver and secure the relationship

- but it's fine because next year he can bring you home to his family

- he'd definitely love for you to come to games

- loves to see you wear his jersey and cheer him on

- Jacob introduces you to all the other partners because he hopes they can help you deal woth him being away so much

- and it's nice because you can go to games together and talk about the stress of having an athlete boyfriend or husband

- Jacob bdoesn't have any major problems in life

- he can take care of himself and his home so it just seems like a small extension to take care of you too

- he'll randomly send you flowers to your job

- and some nice takeout after days he knows will be stressful

- he just wants you to be taken care of

- when he's home he likes to cook for you

- he's actually really good at it and you love to see what recipes he comes up with

- then he lights a few candles and puts on some nice music

- and he doesn't even expect you to stay the night

- but like... if you DO wanna stay the night he has the comfiest bed ever

- he already has a giant his and hers closet that's jjust waiting for the right person to fill the second half

- especially since he has so much space that could be filled with love and laughter
