What the fuck Mateo! Why do you always do this?
Dean quickly pulls away from me and wipes my lip and I move his hair around to fix it then clear my throat.
I look over at Dean who's pacing around grabbing wood because we dropped it when we ran into Steve. Let's not forget that Dean's knuckles were bleeding and mine were now swollen.
"Dean? Chanel? Where are you guys!!?" Mateo shouts again pushing through branches
"Here!" I shout and grab some sticks from Dean's arms and we begin to walk toward the direction of the RV.
Shit man, why is Mateo always interrupting? Is this how it'll be when I lose my virginity to Dean? Wait no, there's no way that's going to happen. Right?
Why am I even thinking about that?
Maybe Mateo interrupting was a good thing, who knows where this could've headed. I mean I am not afraid to find out but I sometimes think that it in the open for my first time wouldn't be such a great thing...
"What the hell took you guys so long?" Mateo questions reaching us, now standing in front of us
"We couldn't find wood and an incident happened" Dean admits
"Clearly" Mateo mumbles looking at my knee and then at our knuckles "Care to explain how all this shit happened?" he questions then points to my knee and our knuckles.
"I fell," I say pointing to my knee "To avoid it getting infected, Dean wrapped it with his flannel"
"And the knuckles? The fuck you do punch each other?"
"Steve's here" I mumble
"What?"
"Steve is here," I say again but a bit clearer
"Like here in the woods?" Mateo questions now widening his eyes
I slowly nod my head and Dean looks over at me then back at Mateo. I look over and see that Dean's jaw was clenched, he's still upset over the Steve situation. Especially putting me out like that, I don't know what Deans thinking to be honest. Dean is hard to read.
"Let's just say he made some unnecessary comments so he received a bit from the both of us"
"You mean mainly from you?" Mateo questions Dean
"He disrespected her, she's like a little sister to me too, you know?"
Mateo smiles and then turns around walking back to the RV, I look at Dean and we follow behind Mateo.
