This story will read more like a documentary of this alternative history of the Latin Empire. From its renewed beginning in 1337 to its eventual downfall. It'll be a lot of in fighting, dynasty struggles, and outward expansion. This is also my first attempt at story writing so please give me tips and tell me what you like and don't like. Thoughts about tolerance in the light of Paris attacks 11/15.

Between 2011 and 2014, I wrote a set of poems that eventually became a Spanish manuscript titled Talón, part of a three-book series (Talón - Planta - Punta) intended for simultaneous publication. However, my inability to complete the manuscript of Punta, which focused on meta-poetry and meta-language, led me to pursue other projects. I later decided to begin translating some of my work, and over time, the act of translation became an exercise in rewriting the poems themselves. This is how Talón became Distentio Animi.

On many occasions, I heard so called "Romanians" claiming they are related with the ancient glories of Rome and Italy. The problem is that they are brainwashed by their official historians who created a fake national history and a fake national identity in order to hide the real past of this nation, that is absolutely insignificant. This work wants to show how Romania has nothing to do with Rome, the Romans, and the great achievements of the Roman civilization and how these illiterate people have no right to call their country "Romania" and themselves "Romanians".
