Beneath the Sacred Sakura's many limbs, the Crimson Axis officer gathering is set to begin. The Takao Sisters and Eugen take their respective seats around a holographic table gifted to the SE by IB who reverse-engineered Siren technology. The current projection displays the Pacific Ocean, the SE Island Base, and Azur Lane Base in a 3D fashion. An expanse of open space is projected above the land masses and ocean surface to represent Earth's atmospheric layers, all the way to high Earth orbit. Which is convenient because the main subject of this gathering was first detected at high orbit above the center of the Pacific Ocean by the Sirens. The Sakura Empire officers (The Takao Sisters, Akagi, Kaga, Shinano, Mikasa, Mutsu, and Kawakaze) all stand with Nagato as she greets the officers of the other factions in her elegant and orderly fashion, as a prestigious leader of the SE.

The SE officers all sit as the welcoming for the other faction leaders has been given. Now the meeting has begun, and Bismarck takes the figurative mic and briefs the others on the purpose of the gathering.
Bismarck: "This meeting will stray from the usual topic of a war strategy or use for Siren technology. The subject of this gathering is the anomalous signal that was detected in high orbit above the Pacific that just so happened to appear on Siren high altitude radars as the Sakura Empire commenced their surprise attack on the Azur Lane Pacific Base. It is unknown if these events were directly correlated. However, it was noticed that the Sirens put a very unusual amount of focus on this anomaly, given by the fact that Observer and Purifier almost immediately vacated the battlefield and prepared an orbital fleet for investigation."
