As the Apollo Fleet Carrier exits the shipyard, the Commander is staring down at Hiigara through the starboard viewing ports. You had made a habit of always taking a moment to remember your home world and why you joined the navy. Defending Hiigara from numerous Taiidani raids hoping to demoralize your people. Ensuring that those planet-side would not have to worry about oppression so long as you and the rest of your brothers and sisters in arms were there to be the sword and shield. You knew that each mission could very well be your last, so dedicating a small amount of time to remember all you held dear became a routine activity.
The sight of a destroyer passing by brought you back to the task at hand. Rendezvous with your fleet, confirm all assets are accounted for, and begin the mission. You turn to Raymond to relay your orders.
Y/N: "Raymond, inform the fleet to begin callsign check."
Ray: "Yes sir. All ships, report in."
Destroyer Espadon: "This is Destroyer Espadon. All systems go."

Armed with twin laser cannons which have at least 180 degrees arc of fire and two heavy kinetic guns as the main arsenal, Destroyers Arbalest and Espadon are your two most powerful ships. Their main flaw is a glaring lack of hull defense guns for blasting the fastest of fighters the Taiidani had. So, it's best to keep ships that can hit strike craft as escort to defend them from bomber attacks.
