Kyra "Lando!" I shout from the sofa, I can hear him shuffling around in the kitchen where he was on FaceTime with Carlos. He sticks his head round the lounge door and smiles at me.
"Yes darling?" I love his accent more than anything especially when he says typically British stuff like 'darling' sends me crazy!
"What are you and Flo up to?" He giggles a little making me blush. I love this man so much.
"Can't have my sister thinking she can come after my girl" he winks at me, the colour in my cheeks no doubt intensifying. Lockdown with Lando has been great, he's been so patient with me. I feel bad for being distant, I didn't want to tell him what happened I didn't want him to judge me or feel bad. Keeping it to myself made things worse, like by not admitting it, it was getting worse and expanding in the silence.
Lando finding out was like the cork being let out and the pressure fizzing out! And everything started to return to some normal. These past two weeks it's like a pressure has been released, like someone was squeezing my heart stopping me breathing and then all of a sudden then let go. And I could breath. And that was Lando, he took away that pressure and fear. For that I love him. So much.
"How was Carlos?" He rolls his eyes slightly. But returns his perfect smile to his perfect face.
"He's okay, sends his love," a nod a little trying to stop the small smile I can feel forming. He jumps over the sofa like some form of free runner and lands inches from my toes. I luckily pull my feet back before he can break them. He sits opposite me smiling his typical goofy grin.
"We should go for a walk?" He rolls his eyes at my suggestion, then nods. "Go to the dog park?" He laughs a little and nods again. We don't have a dog, but I love the dog park. So I can go and stroke other peoples dogs, which isn't always approved of by their owners given the pandemic, but I don't care! I love dogs!
"You're a nutter!" I act vaguely offended but ultimately nod in agreement. "I love you Luna, you know that?" He smiles at me, I blush again. I have the biggest crush on this boy!
"I love you too roast beef!" I lean towards him, going for a kiss. He pulls back laughing.
"Roast beef?" He throws his head back laughing like a hyena! "Roast beef?" He asks again weezing a little.
"Yeah! It's a nickname for Brits!"
"And that makes you a froggy?" I stare at him in horror.
"Froggy?" I spit at him, "I'm not French!" I screw my face up in disgust! Causing Lando to breakdown laughing again.
"Okay so what can I call you?" He settles a little, staring in my eyes.
"You call me Luna?" We ourselves for a bit grinning like stupid school kids.
"You're beautiful." I blush again.
"I love you Lando!" He leans forward flopping his body on top of mine slightly, and places a kiss gently on my lips. He sends butterflies through my whole body, like sparks igniting me.
"Let's go on this walk then!" He gets off me, and the sofa and holds his hand out for to help me get up.
"One minute!" I grab my phone and gently tap away. Then grin at my boyfriend as his phone beeps.
