5 damn chapters just to say one thing
"You make my heart sing".

I spent a while getting ready,
But I rushed out to see
Who was it that would be
Waiting, and standing around
And after a joyous reunification
I see a familiar face
In an unfamiliar way
But at a very familiar place
And all I can do
Is look at you
Despite every face all around
Yours is the only one I found.
You looked as handsome as ever.
A grin lighting up my day
Because it came from your face
And I didn't care that I wasn't ready
Or that you made my heels unsteady.
Your style made me smile
Obviously the best one for miles,
Your hair made me laugh,
It was better than in the past.
Your shirt made me blush
Because I couldn't get past the rush
That you give me.
In the moment I ran back,
Because beauty was not something I planned to lack,
And when I did return
Walking as gracefully as I could,
It seemed as if everyone thought I looked good
But the only thing I wanted to see
Was when you stared at me
And no words came out your mouth
And I knew I'd done the same to you
That you'd done to me too.

What can I say except that we look beautiful alone
But gorgeous together.
