We're better together but apart
Just something we should've done from the start,
Is learn our distance
Is better for difference
Between friends and lovers
And that there's a way to keep each other
At arms length;
Close enough for comfort
And much needed strength
But knowing that we come first
And thats why there's a space
So he can breathe
And I can see
That we
Maybe aren't meant to be
So we need to set ourselves free
But I will always know who you are to me
Because you make me so happy
Even though I know you don't care
Say you're not there
For me,
But you're there none the less
So I know that distance is best.
We're miles apart
Not even sure if it was doomed from the start
But always know you'll always be close in my heart.
