𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞

Whenever I get angry, or sad, or just anxious,

I think about being in your arms,

about hugging it out instead of having to talk it out,

to be able to leave my problems at door when I'm with you.

You just know what to do when I'm down,

how to make me smile when I haven't stopped crying for hours,

how to relax me when I haven't slept in days,

how to love me when I'm angry and being unreasonable, 

and you let me just let it all out whenever I need to.

You're just perfect in every problem that rears its ugly face,

and I thank you for everything;

the comforting hugs,

the talking sessions,

the de-stressing memes,

all of it.

When the time comes for me to help you,

to support you,

to love you,

to know how to deal with your anger,

to be the shoulder to cry on,

believe that I will be there.

I will repay your kindness and love forward 

and it will multiply as time goes on.

I could fill many books with all the good things you've done for me,

and the things you've said to me. 

Let me quote that future book, with my favorite phrase,

"I'm your prince, and you're my princess."
