𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔

I swear the only thing you gotta do now

is win over my parents because you already got me,

and my siblings already treat you as a brother,

and my best friends vibe with you,

and I love you,

so that is all that you need to do now.

I get it, very scary job you got there,

but its the only thing left to do

before I can freely say that I am yours. 

All that I am and have, you already own 

although not by title yet, but because you love me.

I report to you, anything that makes me smile, 

sad, happy, or just anything because I am yours.

I trust you with my secrets, with my heart and life,

and I know that someday you will too, 

you just need time to work things out,

and I am willing to wait for however long it takes.

All I ask is that you love me back,

not that you don't break my heart, or leave me,

but that you love me because for me that is enough.

I've spent enough time in relationships that were convenient,

easy to get into and out of,

that ended just as complicated as they started. 

But with you everything has been so different;

you've loved unconditionally, waited for me,

trusted me with your honest opinion, 

and you've shown that you do care about us.

So darling, I am yours. 

Do whatever you will, love me,

leave me, make me yours, or leave it as is.

I will never stop being yours.
