Girl meets world - 10 years on...

For the first ever time

The ride home was silent. My dad didn't say anything to me. I think he might has seen us holding hands.

We got home. I just went to my room. I got s FaceTime call from Isabelle. I really wanted a nap but instead I answered.
"Heyyy!!" She said waving.
"Hi." I said

I can't team we what happened after that.

I fell asleep talking to Isabelle.

The next day was Monday. I walked to Isabelle's house to walk to school together.

I knocked on the door.
"Hey" she said opening the door.
"Hi" I said.
It was a little awkward.

We both stood in the be he door.

She smiled

I smiled

It was the first awkward moment we have ever had.

I didn't know what to do.

I moved closer to her.

I gazed into her sea blue eyes.

I moved in to her and...

We kissed.

We didn't say anything to one another.

"Don't forget you lunch Isabelle" her mom said from behind us and broke the silence.

"Oh! Thank you mom. Isabelle said looking at me.

We left the house and walked to school.

"Did my mom see us kissing?" She asked. I had to tell her the truth even if she didn't want to hear it.

"Yeah I think she did." I said disappointingly.
"Oh. Ah well!" She said smiling.

We got to school. None of her friends had arrived yet so we sat with mine.

"Hey Oscar. Hey what's she doing here?" My mate said impolitely.
They didn't know about us being together yet.

"She's a friend." I said looking at her and winking slyly. She smiled and winked back.

"Oh ok" I shut mate up for a while.

We had kept it all day.

All day that was until we went home. We thought we were safe. We went round the corner from school.

We didn't see anyone follow us.

But that didn't mean they didn't follow.

Because they did.

My mate and her two best mates followed us secretly.

"I love you!" She said to me.
We were holding hands.
"I love you too, I can't believe they don't even know!" I was talking about our friends not knowing.
"I know they have no idea!" She said giggling a little.

I looked into her eyes again. I wasn't sure if I should kisses her. She lent in. we kissed.

This time it wasn't just a kiss. It was more than that. It was Longer.

We snogged.

For a long time!

Little did we know what in the bushes was our friends. Our friends with their phones.

I looked on Facebook once I got home and there it was. I picture of us snogging all over the Internet.

The cute hung was.

The comments.

"Aww"
"This is adorable"
"So cute"
"I want to be like them"
They all were so adorable.

And so was Isabelle.

Twenty years passed.

We grew up, just like my mother and father. We got married, had good paying jobs, four children:

Toby
Jack
Charlotte
