Ryu & Thunder were now in the Ice Realm, surveying it to look for any signs of Buzzsaw
"See anything?" Ryu asks Thunder.
Thunder answers with a soft snarl
"I'll take that as a no." Ryu replies before noticing something in the corner of his eye. "Hold up. We got another one." he informs him. "Down there, bud!" he tells him, pointing to it.
Thunder then lands where Ryu was pointing. Once Thunder has landed, Ryu gets off and looks at it. He's looking at a big ice cage made by Buzzsaw
"Buzzsaw." Ryu states seriously, kneeling down to the ice bars of the cage. "Looks like we just missed him." he says to Thunder, walking back to him. "You wanna do the honors?" he asks him, gesturing to the ice cage and smirking.
Thunder growls before roaring as he charges up a lightning stream. He then shoots the lightning stream as it hits the cage, destroying it as some smoke & dust kick up. Once the dust & smoke settle, a single ice spire from the ice cage can be seen still standing. Thunder quickly knocks it away with a tail swipe before snarling angrily at it
"Good job." Ryu praises him. "Let's head home." he says to him.
Thunder growls in agreement before suddenly growling in surprise when he hears something, which makes Ryu go to Thunder's saddle and unsheathe his sword from the sheath

Thunder grumbles softly
"What is it? Buzzsaw?" Ryu enquires.
Thunder then suddenly runs forward
"Whoa, whoa, wait up!" Ryu exclaims.
Thunder roars as he starts sliding on the ice from right to left before coming to a stop and then running forward again. Ryu quickly runs after him, also sliding from left to right and then running to where Thunder ran off to
Ryu sees that Thunder has his back to him as he hears him growling at something. Thunder then turns his head around, grinning at Ryu, showing his teeth and purring. Ryu then sees something by Thunder's front paws
"Is that what I think it is?" he asks himself with a big smile.
The creature lets out a shy purr before revealing itself a little bit more to show a male baby Night Light with black scales, turquoise eyes, white spots on his body and rounded tail fins. He purrs again, looking up at Thunder. He steps aside to show that baby Night Light's right hind leg is caught in 1 of Buzzsaw's snares. The baby Night Light struggles to free itself. Thunder looks at Ryu before roaring at the snare and looking at it. Thunder looks at Ryu, upset about what happened to the baby Night Light. Ryu holds out his left hand as he plunges the tip of his sword into the snow. Ryu then slowly approaches the baby Night Light, who lets out a scared whine. Ryu then unties the rope of the snare. The baby Night Light shakes his right hind leg a bit as he purrs softly. Thunder then nuzzles his head against the baby Night Light, making the baby Night Light look at him while raising and spreading his wings & tail as Thunder growls quietly at him. The baby Night Light flies away a few feet as Thunder lets out a quiet roar and flies to the baby Night Light. Thunder then tackles the baby Night Light as the both of them chitter playfully. The baby Night Light then jumps from Thunder's chest while turning around to face him as Thunder tilts his head slightly to look at him properly while grinning at him
