*A few days later*

They had finished school for today, so after dropping off their bags at their domes, they met at the fence line. Ryu & Tom clicked on the cinnamon toast icon to deactivate the sensors as they all ran past it

They went to the entrance of the cave, got on their dragons, flew outta the cave and started flying around in the fissure

Suddenly, they hear thunder going off up in the sky as Thunder stops, turns around and starts snarling and screeching

Then he starts flying upward to the thunder

"Woah! Whoa! Whoa, woah! No bud!" Ryu tells him, trying to make him stop flying upwards

Thunder ignores him and keeps going

"Where are you going?" Ryu asks him in a loud voice.

"What's wrong with Thunder?" Tom & D'Angelo ask him loudly, having heard Ryu's question to Thunder.

Ryu turns around seeing that they started flying in place looking at him

"I don't know! He's trying to fly up into the clouds, I think!" he replies.

Ryu turns back to Thunder

"We can't go up there, buddy!" he explains to him. "Someone might see you." he adds.

By now, they were outta the fissure and high in the sky

Thunder stops flying upward, but keeps flying in place, he looks around at all the thunder strikes and after a few seconds he looks down sadly

Suddenly, Ryu hears a helicopter coming, he looks around to see where it would be coming from, he turns to his left and saw the flashlight on the helicopter coming straight to them

Ryu looked at Thunder

"Quick, hide!" he tells Thunder quickly.

Thunder dive-bombs back into the fissure

They all hide behind openings at the walls of the fissure as the helicopter flies over them

Once they made sure it was away, they get outta their hiding spots and start flying to the secret cave

"That was close. They could've seen us." Jun tells the group.

"Yeah." Ryu agrees.

*Sometime later*

They were back in the cave to talk about what happened with the helicopter

"Alright. To Jun's point, we gotta be more careful out there. Keeping the dragons a secret is the most important thing." Ryu informs the group.

"What do you suggest?" Jun asks him with a smirk putting her arms over each other.

Thunder looks at Ryu questioningly, he does a big jump backwards getting behind a rock pillar as Thunder looks at him in surprise

"Hiding techniques." he explains them. "Watch this." Ryu continues as he looks at Thunder. "Okay bud. Time for the old lightning cloak trick." he tells him.

Thunder nods his head understanding what Ryu meant. He starts flying around the cave as Ryu gets away from the pillar. The group looks at Thunder as he shoots a lightning blast, flies through it, cloaking himself and disappears
