*Few days later*
The group was now in the Crystal Realm part of the Hidden World
They wanted to put a collar with a tracker on a Terrible Terror, so they could track its migratory habits to better understand its health needs and hopefully get an idea of how big this world actually
Tom's and D'Angelo's idea was to just chase after it
Ryu being kind of dragon expert said that's not a good idea, but they decided to try it anyway
So while Tom and D'Angelo tried to catch a Terrible Terror, Ryu went to sit with Alex and Jun
"Target acquired." Tom says to D'Angelo looking at a purple Terrible Terror who's on a set of the glowing green gems with green steam coming out of it.
D'Angelo clicks on the tracker that's on the collar activating it and makes a small beep sound
"Tracking tag activated and ready." D'Angelo confirms.
"Okay, Dr. D. It's all you. I got your back." Tom says to him as they start sliding to the dragon on their stomach
D'Angelo starts to get up when he gets close enough and keeps approaching the Terrible Terror who turns to look at him
The Terrible Terror starts to fly up as Tom and D'Angelo try to catch it
"I got him!" Tom yells out.
Unfortunately they just smash into each other falling to the ground looking up at the Terrible Terror flying above them.
"So close." Tom says sighing
They run for a bit before jumping on their dragons as they continue trying to catch the Terrible Terror
"Come on! Come here, little fella! No, don't..." Tom says to it.
"Isn't science fun?" Jun asks Ryu and Alex.
"It's not really my type of thing." Ryu replies honestly.
Tom and D'Angelo fly past them
"Get him!" D'Angelo yells out.
"Sadly, no amount of scientific observation can explain the behavioral patterns of those two." Alex tells Jun and Ryu while rolling her eyes.
"True." Ryu says while chuckling.
In the end Tom and D'Angelo are able to fly into each other as the Terrible Terror goes over to Alex, Ryu and Jun
"You're such a sweet dragon, aren't you?" Jun asks it as Alex puts a collar with a tracker around its neck.
"How did they..." Tom wonders quietly.
"Tracker is paired." Alex confirms.
"You know, we make a great team. I think we're mind melding. 2 are becoming one." Jun says to Alex.
Ryu just watches them talk
"Mm, I think we're still two." Alex answers back.
"Jun and Alex. Ooh, Jalex! Or wait. Aljun!" Jun says to Alex trying to come up with a name that combines both names.
"Oh boy." Alex says sighing a bit.
Ryu laughs a bit "That's Jun for you." he says honestly nudging Jun's side.
