"Maria!" Blake said. I was out in the gardens again, tending to flowers since I gave the gardeners the day off.

"Yeah?" I asked, whipping some of the sweat off my brow, only to put more mud on it.

"I have some excellent news," Blake said. "Your father is dead,"

I blinked a few times. "Oh,"

"Do you not consider excellent news? Now that he's gone, we can start making things better around here,"

"I do, but I was just thinking how crazy it is that I feel that way. I remember that I used to love my father, a long time ago..." I looked down at my hands, covered in dirt. The man who died wasn't my real father, but the one from my original world might be.

"I'm sorry," Blake said in a softer voice. "I should've considered that,"

"It's alright," I got up and walked towards him, and almost gave him a hug  before remembering how dirty I was. "I suppose it's time to start planning the wedding. We'll have to wait a little bit for the proper mourning period to past, which would just give me more time to plan,"

"That sounds excellent," He wrapped his arms around me and whispered "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you,"

"So so I,"
