You look over to the clock. "2:27am" it reads. You sigh as you try and go to sleep, but nothing. You move a bit making the bed shake, you look over to your boyfriend Matthew he's sound asleep. He's a hard sleeper, nothing can wake him up. You sit up as you just stare into the blank wall.
"Are you okay?" Mumbles Matt.
You look over at him.
"Yeah" you sigh. Playing with your fingers. You feel his fingers intertwine with yours, both fit so perfectly like a puzzle. He starts to play with them, and rubs them gently. Soon you start to feel sleepy, you slowly rest your head on his chest, listening to his heart beat. You close your eyes, slowly starting to sleep. Soon you do, all you remember is when Matt kissed your forehead and whispered "goodnight (y/n). I love you"
