SHE rushed out of the parlour and dialled the number of her driver while looking around in nervousness. Her mother had called multiple times already and she knew she was dead meat once she reaches home.

She wanted to experiment with her hair for her big fat Indian wedding. She discussed the look she wanted for the pre-wedding activities but she didn't like the trial the girl gave her.

Her mother wasn't listening as she believed her daughter shouldn't go out with just 2 days remaining to the wedding. So she sneaked out before her mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies were supposed to take place in the afternoon followed by engagement in the late evening.

The next day was chosen for Haldi and then the main event, the wedding and the bride was roaming freely on the streets of Mumbai. Her driver picked up the call and was in front of her in the next 2-3 minutes.

She was getting impatient while seeing the huge traffic jam. "Shit, shit, shit. When will I reach with this speed?" She asked while terrified.

"Is it even possible for me to get changed or do I have to sit in Mehendi in this jeans and tee?" She asked in frustration.

The mobile rang again and she got even more terrified. But a sigh of relief left her mouth when she saw Rishit's name flashing on the screen.

"Rishi," She whined. "Where are you? Ma called just now. Why aren't you picking up her calls?" He asked and continued, "She is worried for you."

"I'm stuck in this stupid traffic. How will I reach for my Mehendi?" She asked in cried tone.

"Who asked you to go out then? It's in the next two hours," he said. She sighed.

"I wanted to do that hairstyle... I didn't like the original one. I had something in my mind and that stupid girl wasn't understanding my view," She said again. He sighed deeply.
