RISHIT stood before the closed door of Taara's cabin while being in thought if he should open it or not. Those words spoken by Abeer kept bothering him the whole evening and night. He wasn't able to think anything.
He had learnt about her marriage from the reports then why did it hurt just yesterday when he said those words?
The reality was far harsher than it seemed at the start and it was getting to him now what he was losing or had lost already. Yet his stubborn mind was refusing to accept it.
He let out a deep breath. "Sir?" He jumped at his place and looked at Eshanka beside him.
"Huh?" He asked dumbfoundedly. She pressed a smile.
"Ma'am is inside. You can meet her," She said. He nodded and moved his gaze around as he wasn't able to decide his actions.
He stuffed his hands into the pocket of his pants before watching Eshanka again. "What happened to Johnson? Did you take his time? Taara said we needed to revise some conditions," he spoke.
She nodded. "Yes, Sir. They have already given the time... I spoke with ma'am already and she had asked me to get in touch with you."
"I tried calling Akash but he is out of reach," she spoke.
He nodded again, "Yeah, he is on leave today but anyway we can decide now."
She gave her nod before speaking, "Sure, can we get inside?"
He let out a deep breath before giving her a nod and pressed a smile. She smiled back and walked past him but stopped when Rishit called her again.
"Is she... I mean... Her mood?" He asked awkwardly. "Yeah, she looked fine," She said.
He sighed in relief before gesturing for her to get inside. Eshanka knocked on the door and got a reply from Taara after which those two walked inside her cabin.
