22. A Star is Torn.

Rhea sat in the lab watching Conner try out the triassic power. Hayley reprogrammed it and turned to him. "Allright you ready Conner?"

"Yup. Ready." He said. "Wait wait wait. I need a better view." Rhea quickly took her seat and put it informt of Conner. She then removed a bag of popcorn. "Really?"

"What? I need a snack when this thing blows up in your face." He chuckled. "It's not going to."

"Whatever you say." She smiled. Hayley shook her head and turned around typing and then looked at Conner. "Try the controls."

He put his hand on the controls carefully. "Okay." Hayley typed in some words. "Initiating simulation."

The armer statted sending down red shock waves through Conner as Rhea watched. Her eyes widened as she saw his hair stand up. "Uh Hayley can we stop please?"

Rhea covered her mouth trying her best not to laugh. Hayley turned her seat to see Conners hair all standing up. Her eyes widened as she turned and typed on the computer. "Sorry."

"Hey Conner are you there? It's Kira."

"Hey Kira unfortunately he's a little..." She looked to see Rhea touching jis hair and he is a shock state. "...fried right now. Are you Allright?"

"Yeah I'm fine I just wanted to tell him that..."

Hayley inturupted her. "Can we call you back? We're working on the comtrol programing of the new asalt vehicle."

"Uh yeah sure what about Ethan is he around?"

She looked at Ethan who was on his  computer. "Can you tell her unless she's getting attacked by something green and scaly. Send me an email."

"Did you hear that?"

"Yeah I heard."

"And Ethans right. Unless it's an emergency we should keep the communication frequency clear."

"Okay I'm sorry."

Rhea walked up to the monitor. "Hey Kira why don't I come and you talk to me?"

"You already know. Infect you were the first to know. I'll talk to you guys later."

"Bye." The two girls turned around and looked at Ethan. "What are you doing there that's just so important anyway?"

"Searching the web for my soul mate." Conner laughed. "Dude if you needed my help with girls you just needed to ask."

"I'm lolling for something deeper than your used to bro." He looled at Conner and noticed his hair. "And by the way nice look."

"What?" He looled at the other two. "What's he talking about?"

"You look fine. Now let's try that again." Rhea smiled. "Oh goodie." She ran back to her seat and started eating the popcorn. Conner looled at her. She shook her head. "Oh no don't worry it's totally not going to blow up in your face."

He sighed and looked at Hayley. "Okay I'm ready."

Rhea got up shaking her head grabbing him by his hand making him sit. "Your not ready."

She removed a hair brush and started brushing his head. It was kinda hard the way it stood up but she managed to do it.

After she's done she smiled at him. "Done now you can go mess it up again."

He sighed and Hayley gave him a vr set and he got ready to fight. He started doing it. He was in a simulation fighting. "Come on Conner take him down."

"I'm trying." They watched s he tried to fight the imaginary megazord. "No I'm losing it." And with that he was done. Simulation over. "Opps."
