"Hello, Mr. Rajvansh" A very sweet and familiar voice said from behind.

I turned around

And...

My world stopped.

"Tara..."

I was standing rooted at my place looking at the person in front of me.

She is changed.

She looks mature now.

Her hair looks more beautiful flowing like feathers.

She is wearing Indian.

A tear slipped from my eyes.

I moved forward and hugged her tightly.

But...

She didn't hug me back. Instead, she pushed me away.

I was confused.

Maybe she can't digest the fact that she is seeing me after all this time.

I cupped her face still with tears.

"I knew you are alive"

"I knew one day we will meet"

"I knew my love will bring you back to me"

"I knew" I said smiling with tears still holding her face.

She placed her hands on my hands and jerked them away.

I looked at her in confusion.

"Tara..." I started

"You knew I was alive. Right?" she asked

I nodded

"Then, where were you all these years." She asked folding her hands.

I wanted to answer but I had no answer.

"You have no answer. Right?" she again asked

I just looked at her with tears.

"Ok, so let me tell you...
You never tried to find me!
And for your kind information Mr. Rajvansh, no you never loved me. Nor do I loved you, even for a second" she spatted breaking my heart into million pieces.

She didn't loved me? Even for a second?

"I assumed that I loved you because I was just a teenager. But now I know what true love feels like" she said again stabbing my heart with her words.

"I know you are saying all this in anger. Tara, please come back. I promise I will forgive you. I can't live without you. Please, Tara..." I begged trying to cup her face but she moved backward.

She let out a dry laugh and said

"Oh really Mr. Rajvansh, for what mistake you will forgive me? Huh? The mistake I never did. All these years I suffered only because of you. But you know what? I am happy, I am happy that I am not with you because only due to that I found my true love"

Her statements were like a thousand knives on my already broken heart, killing me every second again and again.

"I am happy that you told me to leave that day. Because now, I have the person whom I love truly" she said moving towards that owner of RATHOD enterprises.

She held his hand and smiled looking at him. In return, he also smiled tucking her hair strands behind her ear.

My every hope shattered like pearls from a broken necklace.

"Tara...please..." I begged again moving forward.

"Mr. Rajvansh, I think my fiancé clearly said that you were her past and she never loved you. She only loves me and we are getting married soon" he said kissing her forehead.

My blood boiled seeing him touching her.

But what can I do?

The person I was expecting to be on my side is with someone else...

"Mr. Rajvansh, I think we should keep aside our personal matters and focus on our meeting. My fiancé is here for finalizing the colors" he said and again smiled at her.

I fisted my hands and nodded.

We sat on the chairs with Mr. Rathod and Tara on one side and me on the other.

Everything is changed now...

I was looking at her but she never looked back at me.

But don't worry princess

I will bring you back into my world soon.

And this time for eternity.

Because I know you always loved me...
