The day went on as normal for Maddie, as well for Justin and Sarah. The only thing that changed that Justin or Sarah kept wanting to talk. Maddie gladly answered. This went on for three months.
Maddie's POV:

I slammed my phone on my bed, rubbing my temples. How could he do this?

I opened it while my fingers danced. I honestly did not know what to think so I went into auto mode.

My bedroom seemed to shrink as the tears fell freely down my cheeks. We've been talking for three months. Three months they fed me that lie. For three months I believed it.
Justin's POV:
Tears were threatening to fall as I stared down at the screen. I quickly wiped them away. I could I be so damn stupid? What if she never came back?
