Listening to the frogs croak and the crickets chirp at night
Looking up and seeing the stars that light up the sky
This life could be simple, but we make it so hard
It didn't have to be difficult, but people lie about who they are
Why can't this life be more simple?
Why can't it stay at the same rhythm and tempo?
Because the frogs croak the bass
And the crickets chirp the snare
Why can't life be as easy and calm as the blue sky when it is clear?
When you think about it, Life is like the sky in some ways
Even when it storms and rains, the sun will come back on another day
This is showing that the troubles in you life won't forever last
And that this too, like the storm shall pass
Why can't life be as simple as the sky?
Why can't we let things go, and allow them to just simply pass by?
