20. The Mission (part two)

Sasuke POV

Shit.

A couple of enemies appeared before me and Naruto.

"Already? Well, this should be goo-" I began, but got cut off when one of them instantly targeted Naruto.

I quickly attacked them before any of them could lay a hand on Naruto.

Naruto just watched.

As I fought, and defeated two of them; but there was four...

I heard Naruto yelp and quickly turned to him "DOBE"

Naruto was dodging the attacks.

I ran to Naruto, but, something happened that shocked me.

One of the unknown enemies, had punched Naruto in the stomach... That really got me.

I completely went all out. I grabbed the two enemies, and threw them onto the floor, and grabbed my sword, and stabbed them multiple times, over and over in anger.

"S-Sasuke. That's enough!" Naruto cried.

I then punched the two in the face, over and over.

"Sasuke!" Naruto said.

I stopped and turned to Naruto.

I then ran to Naruto and held him tightly. "Are you ok?"

He nodded. "I protected my stomach as much as I can. So I'm fine"

I hugged him. "I'm glad..."

"You didn't have to keep... stabbing. ya' know" Naruto said.

"Yeah... I just got mad..." I said.

"Well, we should keep going, I guess" Naruto said.

I nodded.

<Time Skip>

Naruto POV

We came back to Konoha three days later.

Tsunade was worriedly waiting for us. When she saw us, she quickly ran to us.

"You're back. I'm glad" she said.

She then looked at me and her expression was in relief and calm "You're back ok"

I nodded with a smile "I told you I could do it!"

She nodded and smiled as she turned to Sasuke "Sasuke, I am proud of you for protecting Naruto"

Sasuke nodded.

"It's almost time..." I muttered.

Naruto stared at me in confusion "Hm?"

"You know what I mean" I said.

Naruto stared at his stomach, then back at me. "Ooooh... Oh..."
