Chapter 59

Sitting in a taxi cab in my green emerald dress, that was something I thought I would never do. Along with many other things I've done recently. Sitting beside me was a handsome...jerk.

Someone who I didn't at first but it's crazy what a month can do to you. Devin was staring outside the window just after we ran from his fathers hotel where I was having breakfast with my family. I had left my phone and everything else I could possibly think had a tracker on me.

I stared at Devin for a few moments, he flexed his sharp facial and got the butterfly's flying all around when I began to check him out.

I Quickly noticed I was staring for to long I looked straight forward at the taxi driver who was a man. The man kept his eyes on the road. I began to get suspicious as the taxi driver often looked at me through the front mirror. I felt a little weird as he stared at me. My green emerald dress was spaghetti strapped and I had left my coat back at the restaurant.

The taxi driver continued to stare through the mirror and drive. I felt his eyes examen my body through the mirror.

Feeling a little expose I reached for Devins hand. Peeking at Devin from the corner of my eye, he was on the right side. He had his right hand clutch into a fist and looked out. I tried to reach for his left hand but he quickly moved it into his pocket.

"You know what drop us off here!" Devin said coldly and took out his wallet. The driver pulled over to the side and Devin handed the driver a hundred bill. Taking a look into Devins wallet he had a few bulls and credit cards.

The money here in the US was different from my country. Mostly everything was different. Devin leaned over me and pulled open my door. He looked at me and signaled me to get off.

I pulled down my dress and took my steps out. Feeling the breeze of the light wind flow through me.
Holding down my dress I waited for Devin to get off. We stopped at a bush street and slow traffic. I was surprised how we even found a parking to stop.

I watched as Devin slammed the door and walked to me with his jaw clenched. The taxi driver shouted in anger while Devin didn't care He grabbed my shoulder and we began walking. He looked at me then back at the driver.

"Sorry for making you walk in heel, I couldn't let him be a pervert to you" he said looking straight ahead avoiding eye contact. I felt weirded out but at the same time in awww since Devin noticed. As we walked I couldn't help but notice people staring at us. From Guys to girls. Paying more attention to my surroundings I over heard someone say. "They are a good looking couple"

I wasn't sure where we were heading. There were many people on the side walk as they were taking pictures of the ground. Looking down I noticed they were stars with names.

"Why are there stars with name?" I asked Devin he still had his hand on my shoulder so we wouldn't be separated.

"They are famous people, like big time actors" he said like it was obvious. Funny thing is I don't know many actors nor have I met. I don't recall meeting anyone famous.

We continued to walk onto the busy street.  For the most part I couldn't believe I where I was at the moment. We were walking down the "walk of fame" which had many civilians doing things such as put on a show, selling, in costumes and more. Devin and I stopped for a few moments to admire them.

We passed by a group of young adult men who were putting on a show. They cracked some jokes and did a few tricks. We happened to by in front of the crowd.

I looked back at Devin who hand his arms cross with no expression but once he saw me looking at him..he smiled.

"What?" He said joyfully . I shook my head and converted my eyes back to the group. Apart of me wishes I had my phone so record as a memory but it sucked if I didn't I would have been caught by joe.
