Chapter Thirty-Two

Victoria pov:

Sitting on the couch while thinking about whatever happened. Armando said it's just my imagination that I saw him because I'm so scared and also depressed but he was really there. I know he is not my imagination. His touch felt so real than how can he be my imagination. I'm going to grocery shop with Dario. He said his favorite biscuits finished so he wanna go to buy. I'm just going with him. What if he came there? No no don't think about that. He wouldn't come there. He isn't real.

I screamed when someone put a hand on my shoulder: "ahhh"

Dario said simply: "hey it's just me"

I sighed and start taking deep breathes. He said gently rubbing my back: "shh it's fine. Just a second"

He rush towards kitchen. He came back with a glass of water. He helped her in drinking water. He said simply: "are you feeling fine?"

I nodded and give him a soft smile. He said smiling: "you rest we can go some other day"

I groan and said simply: "I'm not sick"

He said gently: "but ria you have a weak heart and if"

I said angrily getting up from the couch: "can you just stop treating me like I'm sick? I'm fine. I'm not going to just walk and die. I can't live like this"

Now everyone came downstairs. Armando is really sad about Kevin broking his trust. I felt so bad for him. He didn't said anything to anyone. After knowing about my heart condition, they start treating me like a sick person. I'm getting so much tired of all this. I know they just want me safe but this way they're just making me feel so useless and worthless. Marcello didn't let me walk on stairs. Vincenzo said I can't watch TV if someone scream or any scene which scare me and all this.

Armando said simply: "what happened here?"

I said simply looking at them: "listen guys, I'm not sick. I have a weak heart but doctor said I can do anything just need to be careful from the things which scare me. Please don't treat me any different. It's make feel so weird and also worthless"

Vincenzo said simply: "but love"

Armando said simply: "she is right. We can't stop her from doing regular things"

I smile at him. They all groaned but nodded their headed. I smile at them when someone knock on the door. I flinch a little then look at the door. Few police officers standing at the door. Are they here to get me? But how they? No no I don't wanna go to jail. I didn't do this. My breathing started to get heavy. I run towards Alfredo and hold his shirt tightly.

He said gently caressing my cheek: "baby it's fine, you're safe. What happened?"

I said pointing towards them: "they"

They all look at me with a worried look. Armando said blankly: "yes officer"

One of them said blankly: "we found the dead body of your boyfriend Kevin"

Armando said blankly: "we broke up few days back but it's really bad hearing about him"

Another police officer said simply: "we just need you to sign these papers"

Armando said blankly: "sure, in my office"

Alfredo is hugging me while I'm clinging into him. Don't fear them. No one knows what happened that night and no one gonna find out. Just deep breathes, relax they're just here to talk about Kevin but who kill him. Is it him?

Armando give a sign to Alfredo and went to his office with officers. Alfredo kneel down then asked gently: "look at me brat, why did you get so scared of them? You did nothing wrong then"
