Charlis POV:
what a wonderful day for it to be Christmas. Looks like its a white Christmas.
WHEN IS THIS STUPID THERAPY GONNA WORK?! ITS BEEN DAYS?!
Anyways I can't wait to spend Christmas with-
My husband- no
My step kids- nope
My parents- hard pass
My friends- don't have many of those
Alone...
Well that's fine. I can be alone. It's not sad or anything.
I need some alone time anyway...
Nobody's awake so I'm gonna leave before I'm asked to do anything
I quickly got changed and walked downstairs, I grabbed my coat and left the house.
I should go to Starbucks, He isn't gonna be working there today. It's Christmas. He probably wants to spend time with his wife
Chase POV:
What a beautiful day, I'm very excited for Christmas. I got blaire some gifts, I really just want this day to pretend like everything's all right.
Like I'm in love with my wife.
Like a happy family
Like a normal Christmas.
I just want everything to go back to normal, I want to be happy even if I don't deserve it.
I stood up and got changed, I walked downstairs and Blaire was already there.
Chase: "Merry Christmas"
Blaire: "Merry Christmas"
I sat down beside her
Chase: "I got you some things under the tree"
She looked
Blaire: "oh thank you!"
She walked over to the tree
I couldn't help but to notice there was nothing under the tree for me...
That's okay. I don't need gifts
Chase: "we should go to Starbucks"
Blaire: "why?"
Chase: "don't you want a coffee, I got a 50% discount"
Blaire: "yeah okay"
She looked down at her gifts and she picked up one. She seemed more offended than happy?
Chase: "are you okay?"
She walked over to me
Blaire: "mistake me for your little girlfriend?"
What??
She threw the present at me
I looked at it- no- god dammit- this must have gotten mixed in the pile of presents.
It's charli's gift I got for her when we were still together, I was already planning Christmas for us
Chase: "blaire, trust me I can explain."
