Lila's POV.

"I'm glad you're here too," I replied. I planted a firm kiss over his heart before gazing up at him. "More than you know." I breathed. "So... Are you hungry?" I questioned.

He smiled down at me shaking his head. "Are you sure? You could hunt? I could make you something? You could feed on me?" I fired questions at him. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I was acting like his mum... A good mum, at least.

I want to make sure he's comfortable and happy here. I don't want him to feel embarrassed or to hide when he needs to feed. Once in a while, Lola hunts. It's not necessary as human food works just as well for us, but Lola likes giving in to her animalistic side now and again.

He shook his head and smiled down at me. "Lila, baby, I promise I'm ok." He chuckled.

I nodded and sighed. "Sorry, I badgered you with the questions," I muttered awkwardly.

"It's getting late... You should probably get some rest if you're going to be in trouble tomorrow." He smirked.

I chuckled and shook my head playfully. "Do you want a shower? I can get Levi to bring some fresh clothes for you?" I offered.

He nodded and moved my hair from my face. "That would be great, thank you." He returned with a broad smile on his face.

"You go ahead, and I'll leave the clothes outside the door. There are towels and anything you would need in the bathroom, as you saw." I smiled sweetly at him.

"Your parents really thought everything through." He chuckled. I nodded and beamed at him before he pecked my cheek and sauntered out of the kitchen.

"Levi, I need a favour if you aren't too busy, please?" Knowing my brother, he'll have Elias trapped in the room... Joys of your brother and his mate being your best friend, you hear all the sordid details.

"Course... What do you need?" He replied instantly.

I grinned to myself, making my way into the living room. "Could you bring me some clothes for Alarix, please?" I asked.

"Sure! Do you need anything?" He quizzed.

"Nope. I'll ask mum to sort me some stuff. Thanks though. Mum knows where I am." I replied.

"Mum, could you pack me a bag with some clothes in, please? Levi will be coming round for it. Also, give him the directions to the house, please." I linked mum.

I sat back on the sofa and looked around at my new living room. There was a long cream corner sofa with a black glass coffee table in front. On the wall opposite the sofa was a flat-screen television mounted on the wall with a beautiful stone white fireplace below it. There was a small glass black cabinet with empty photo frames on top. The walls were a deep rich brown colour with cream trimming around the top. The flooring had a white fluffy carpet.

I climbed the stairs, listening out for the shower. There was no sound coming from the shower. He must be finished. I gripped the handrail to go around the corner.

I stumbled back as I collided with Alarix. He gripped my waist and manoeuvred his body as we tumbled down the stairs. "Oh my Goddess, are you ok?" I fretted, leaning up, holding my hands against his chest.

"Yeah... I'm fine." He answered, winded.

He wrapped his arms around my back, holding me against him as I tried to move. I stilled and raised my brow at him.

"Stay!" He blurted. "My towel... Isn't secure." He murmured.

My eyes went wide and I went rigid. He's naked underneath me. A million thoughts were running through my head and a tidal wave of feelings was rushing straight to my core. His cheeks were painted a slight hint of red and I knew my face was mirroring his.

"Christ, Lila, you smell incredible." He groaned, tightening his hold on me. His eyes flashed red and he dragged in a haggard breath.

"I... I want y-" I was interrupted by a knock at the door. "Coming!!" I yelled before looking down at Alarix awkwardly.

The door swung open are our gazes snapped towards the door. "I said I was coming!" I growled.

"Oh, sorry, my bad. I'll wait outside." Levi chuckled. "I thought you said come in." He shrugged as he stepped backwards, closing the door behind him.

"I'll close my eyes so you can cover yourself." I muttered, awkwardly as I rolled off him.

"You're adorable when you're shy." He chuckled.

I huffed in response, still laid on my back with my hands covering my face. "You can look now... I'm covered." He commented.

I pulled my hands away slowly and gaped up at him. His hair was wet, falling slightly onto his forehead. His body was almost shining, there was still droplets sliding down his body... I couldn't peel my eyes from him.

"You ok down there?" He snickered, holding his hand out.

I nodded, gripping his hand and pulling myself up. "Are you sure you're ok?" I asked scanning my eyes over him.

"My back is a little sore, but I'm good promise." He smiled. I let out a breath and gave him a small smile.

I turned to the door and giggled, "suppose I should let him in."

Alarix chuckled behind me as I pulled open the door. "You do have a bed, you know?" Levi smirked.

"Shut up," I muttered with a small growl. "We fell down the stairs that's all." I shrugged, opening the door wider to let him in.

He raised his brow as amusement flashed through his eyes. "Get your mind out of the gutter... Not everyone is as crazed as you." I grunted, pushing his brow down with my finger.

"It's a wolf thing... You'll see." Levi shrugged as he walked past me and stopped in front of Alarix.
