"Hey, you stupid drunk... How much longer are you gonna keep drinking?!"

"Hehe~ Just a bit more, please Diluc~!

"No."

"Please, please, please~"

"You're not gonna easily persuade me like how you do with Kaeya."

"Boo~"

"You had enough drinks already, so leave."

"Nooo~!"

"I swear to god that you are so hard to deal with..."

The door opens.

"Hey Diluc, is Venti here?"

"Great timing (Y/n), here to take that drunkard out of my bar?"

"Yeah, we were supposed to meet today but I guess he forgot."

"O-oh..."

'Talk about awkward...'  Diluc sweats.

"Anyways, here."

You put a small pouch filled with gold down on the counter.

"That's for those things over there. We know he's the type to bribe people to pay for his alcohol." You say pointing at the several green empty wine bottles neatly lined together on the counter.

"Y-you know you don't have to." He frowns.

You smile at him before putting Venti over your shoulder and proceeding to carry him towards the exit.

"I apologize for the inconvenience, Master Diluc. I'll be taking my leave." You say as you leave the bar with a hanging drunkard on your shoulders.

"More like a nuisance if he's gonna continue..." Diluc sighs while carefully wiping a wine bottle.

Fast forward to you, you were now inside an inn.

Finally finished registering, you went to the room that you were assigned by the front desk.

You bust the door open and move towards the bed.

Removing the bed covers to the side, dropping the now dead asleep drunkard on the bed, you take off his coat and shoes and put them to the side.

Completely settling him down, you then put the blanket back on him.

While you were sitting next to him, you found a sheet of paper on the small drawer.

You wrote a note, put the inn's key next to it, and got up to take your leave.

As you were about to go, you felt a hand lightly tug on the end of your sleeve.

You turn back.

To see it was an asleep Venti who grabbed it.

"(Y/n)...I'm... sorry... for... today..."

Hearing this, you smile bitterly as you tenderly remove his hand and started to walk towards the door.

Before you left, you look back at him.

A few seconds later, you turn back to quietly leave the room.

With a pained emotionless look on your face, you leave the inn.

'And I thought I was going to tell him my feelings today...'

The next day at early morning:

*Yawn*

"Where... am I?"

He takes a good look around the area.
