[Enterprise META POV: FLASHBACK]

???:  "Do I know you?"
CODE G:  'You shouldn't remember who I am.'

???:  "Have we met before?"
CODE G:  'No, that simulation shouldn't be playing now...'

???:  "Why do I feel like... we have been close at one point..."
CODE G:  That's wrong, it's just a false memory...

???:  Where are you going?! I still want to know who you are!"
CODEG:  No... You shouldn't.

???:  "Wait! We need to know what we're dealing with!"
CODE G:  "..."

HELENA:  "NO... COMMANDER!!!!!"

!!!

A laser that could kill in seconds shot Commander in the heart from miles away.
An instant kill.

I first thought, 'Who was... shot?'
It was such a big explosion than caught me by surprise.

I couldn't turn around.
It surprised me that I stayed from where I was.

We never knew the consequences of our actions...
No...
I never knew the consequences of my actions.

Was it fate for Commander to die?

"No... Commander..."
"It's too late... Commander... Commander is..."
"Command..."

I turn around.
Everyone in the Azur Lane was now circling Commander, holding him for dear life.
Most of them are crying their eyes out.

Others stand there quietly as they hang their head low.
There were others that embraced the Commander as they weeped.

Is it my fault?

Emotionlessly, I stared at Commander's now cold pale face that used to have life.
Constantly bleeding out, having no smile that could end the Commander's chapter.
They all lost someone so important to them.

To me.
I then realize.
It's my fault.
In my timeline, the Commander...
Commander died because of me.

My betrayal... My selfishness... My actions...
They were the root...
The causes...
Of everything I loved.

As a result, that timeline is in ruins...
Because of me.

(META ENTERPRISE POV: END OF FLASHBACK - BACK TO THE PRESENT)

I hold your amulet you kept close to my chest.

I turned my back on you, not knowing the consequences at the end.
I shouldn't have never left you there.
I should've turned around and said something.
Because now, you, commander, did not know what you were dealing with.
After I silently walked from you.

Away I went, and this is how I repay you.

Unforgivable.
