We rode, day and night to Polis to aid our King. Everybody was ready to fight whatever we had to fight. They were ready to die on my command.

"Where are we going?", asked Lyanna once again as we rode on my horse. She sat in front of me, holding on to the saddle.

"Polis", I replied. She had never been there, and now she would see it in chaos. Traumatic for a child, but this was the world, the sooner she accepts that, the better for her.

Everyone already had their battle face colors on, in case they had to jump into action right away. Their faces were colored white, but their eyes were outlined black. They looked more like elderly people than warriors with those paints. I chose a different design.

"Is my brother there?", asked Lyanna as we came upon a field, and saw Polis. It looked different from when I was last here.

"Yes, little Princess. He is", I replied, and turned to look at Echo, nodding that we were here.

"We are here! Prepare!", yelled Echo to the soldiers and everyone placed their hands on whatever weapon they  brought with them.

"Some of the people will stay here, to camp in case everything goes South in there, we need at least some of the men to be able to get back with the Princess", I order to Echo and she nodded. She turned around to the men, choosing some of them to stay here.
