I'm surprised at how life has changed,
It's started to get better.
I'm excited to see where things will go,
I'm excited to see my future.
For so long i was confused,
All i could see was fog.
My mind clouded by the way i felt,
That i forgot to look for the light.
I'm amazed by the life i see,
Something changed along the way.
I'm no longer startled
When life tries to get me down.
You're not very energetic,
Your batteries were running low.
But slowly and surely you're chargine up,
Small hurdles at a time.
You're eager to see the world again,
Now the fog is gone.
You're in awe with everything ou see,
You're astonished you kept going.
I'm not surprised i got here,
I knew the day would come.
Taking hurdles step by step,
You'll always find your way.
