"You won't understand" Hunter said running his hand through his wild hair.

"Then make us understand" Eleanora spoke up.

"That guy is_" he was about to talk but the glare Alfredo gave him made him pause in his word, the exchange didn't go unnoticed by Gabriel who narrowed his eyes at the two men. "That guy is Leah's friend "

"You are not saying the truth... What are you two keeping from me?!" He snaps in anger making the females squirm uncomfortably in their seat.

"Alfredo, your father deserves to know" Emily tender voice broke the silence "you should have told your parents"

This made Gabriel and Eleanora more worried, this is bigger than they thought.

Alfredo huffs, his jaw looks tensed, looking for a way to put his words together without causing any damage.

"Something happened, many years ago... To Leah" Gabriel raised an eyebrow a sign for him to continue. "That guy that caused a scene with Hunter, knew Leah a while back_"

"Let's cut this bullshit! " Hunter snapped angrily with a determined look on his face. "Uncle that guy is a fucking rapist, he raped Leah few years ago and_"

"What did you just say?! " Gabriel roared into his face.

You could hear the audible gasp coming from both Eleanora and Claire. Their face turned white with shock due to the news they just heard.

Claire began fidgeting looking troubled, this did not go unnoticed by Rosalia who has been eyeing her up ever since she got there.

"Leah was raped, when? how? why?" Eleanora cried out, her eyes getting teary at the new revelation. Emilia went up to her, to console the disturb woman, she has been in that situation before, it will kill any mother to hear that her daughter was raped.

"She asked us not to tell you, that she will tell you when she felt comfortable enough" Emilia said, trying to ease the pain, guiding her to a chair.

"Why am I hearing about this for the first time?" He said through clenched teeth directing the question to his son who suddenly looks guilty.

"I didn't want to bother you_"

"I should be bothered!" He roared "she is my daughter! Why did you two keep this from me?! From us!" The tone of his voice lowered as his voice filled with pain, his face which was always void of emotions turns to that of pain and hurt.

"Am sorry... " Alfredo apologized.

Eleanora cried harder not believing her ears, today was supposed to be one of the most happiest days of her life but its turning the opposite.

Her mouth feels heavy as she gently rubs her eyes trying to erase any sign of sleep, she slept through out the night till this morning. She should be energized but she felt completely tired and out of it.

Maybe due to the fact that she saw someone she never thought she would see again.

Her heart beats wildly at the thought of him being in the same room as her. What was he doing at the wedding? How did he get in?

Her eyebrow raised at the gentle knock on her bedroom door.

"Come in" she rasped out, flinching at the sound of her own voice.

Eleanora opens the door with a tray in her hands which she was sure contains her breakfast. Her mother gave her a smile in which she returned a small one.

"Good morning sunshine... " she chirped walking up to her as she placed the tray beside her.

"Morning mum" Leah said, sitting up, her tired body making it hard for her to do so.

"How was your night?" She asks sitting beside her running her right hand through her daughter's hair.

Leah shrugged choosing not to use her words. Her eyes fell on the assorted breakfast, her eyes caught the two pills just beside the cup of juice.

She is on medication now?!

As if reading her thought, Eleanora interjected.

"It is to help you with the headache, the doctor said you should get enough rest because you were in shock yesterday " she nodded.

"Thank you... "  I sigh, not feeling all that hungry but I dare not tell her that. I took a bite from my toast turning to look at her as she goes through my room sorting and putting things in other.

I frown at her form, wasn't she suppose to be on her honeymoon with dad. I watch her tighten her robe, she looks unsettled and the dark lines under her eyes tells me she didn't have adequate rest.

"Mum?"

"Umm? "

"Are you okay?"

"Of course" she said with a nod of her head avoiding eye contact.

"Look if this is about what happened last night, am okay now... I was just tired. "

"Are you sure?" She asked me, looking worried and disturbed.

"Of course, why won't I be?" I ask with a frown.

She opened her mouth but nothing came out, i raised an eyebrow at her facial expression but we were both knocked out of our stare down by a knock on the door.

She avoided eye contact, walking up to the door to meet the person behind it.
