The sound of a pen clicking had woken Zuri up from her sleep. It would be an understatement to say the 20 year old was tired—with training, daily checkups, and the hard mattress the hospital had, she got little to no sleep and her back was starting to hurt.

She slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes of any sleep before opening them fully to a bright room.

"You're awake, thank goodness!" The sound of a very familiar voice has jolted any sleep from Zuri's body and was met with a very pregnant woman in purple scrubs.

"What are you—" Zuri stopped her sentence when she seen the belly of her neighbor and a smile immediately graced her face. "You're—that's a big belly."

Moria smiled and started to rub her 4 month belly. It wasn't huge but it was a visible pudge and she couldn't help but to rub it every chance offered.

"Yup, you're gonna be an auntie." Moria said cheerfully and Zuri couldn't help but to smile hard at her words. "How've you been, though? I heard you were in the hospital but no one seems to want to talk to me about you. Something about stressing me out as if I'm not a registered nurse. I've been stealing charts for weeks now."

Zuri smirked as she tried to sit up but the fractured ribs that were still healing wouldn't allow her to be great. Moria seen she was struggling and decided to help.

"As much as I appreciate you stealing me, I'm tired." Zuri sighed. "Tired and in pain."

Moria frowned. She seen the look on Zuri's face and just wish there was more she could do. Medically and mentally. She could only imagine what Zuri was going through.

Zuri knew exactly how she felt though. She was stuck in an abyss of self doubt. She didn't have anymore strength to give. That moment she had on her first day of training was probably the most confident she'd been.
