[Outside of the Grill, Caroline and Alaïa, Elena are sitting at a table working on their graduation letters]
Caroline: Stamp, please.
[ Alaia tears off a stamp and hands it to Caroline.]
Caroline: Thank you.
Alaïa: You two don't have to pretend to be nice to me, Caroline. I know this is just a ploy to keep me distracted.
Elena: Damon told us what happened, you weren't yourself.
[ Alaia sighs heavily. Caroline looks at Elena and Alaïa's stack of graduation letters.]
Caroline: You're done? I'm only on my second batch.
Elena: [holding up her single letter] We have family friends in Denver. Other than that, no one cares that We're graduating and, to be honest, neither do I nor Alaïa .
[Alaïa gets a texts from Bonnie telling her to meet into the Woods]
Alaïa: [smiles and standing up] I have to go somewhere I'll see you both later. Elena: okay see you later
[Alaïa leaves]
Woods
[Alaïa and Bonnie are sitting in the middle of a clearing, performing a nonverbal spell. Katherine approaches them.]
Katherine: [singsong] Hello?
Alaïa and Bonnie ignores her, continuing the spell with her eyes shut tightly as Alaïa eyes slowly starts glowing red as Katherine glances around, as she can hear whispering all around her.]
Katherine: [to herself] Could you be any creepier? [to Bonnie and Alaïa ] Why are we here?
Bonnie: [opening her eyes] You want me to make you truly immortal so that nothing can kill you. To do that I need to talk to Qetsiyah, which means I need to lower the veil to the Other Side.
