My phone rang loudly. "Hello." I said

"Oh bitch I should beat your ass!" Erin's voice yelled through the phone making me groan.

"What I do now?" I asked.

"You ain't call me last night. My name ain't Devin hoe! You can't just pick me up and put me down any ways and times you want!" He told me.

"Erin, aren't you on a weekend getaway with your man?" I asked.

"Yes and I can't enjoy it because I'm over here worried about my best friend." He said.

"Awwww. I'm sorry baby. I thought you wanted to just wait till Monday when you come back to talk about it." I said.

"You told Kels?" He asked.

"No, Kelsey said she's waiting for you to get back. " I said

"Well then I'll wait. What you doing though?" He asked.

"Just woke up. I've got to get up though." I said.

"Oh what you doing today?" He asked

"Not sure yet but it's noon. So I better get a move on it." I said.

"Alright baby. I've got to go Js calling me and will beat my ass if he knew I was on this phone." He told me

"Bye babe. Have fun and be safe!" I told him.

We hung up and I got out of bed. I took a slower and decided to get dressed for the day. I dressed in a pink maxi skirt and a crop top.

I went to my mom and dad's room knowing that they are probably asleep too if they let me sleep so long. I knocked on their door before I heard a come in.

"Morning mommy and daddy." I said smiling

"Morning sleeping beauty." My dad said.

"What y'all up to?" I asked.

"Nothing, getting ready for the day. What's up baby girl?" My mom asked.

"Nothing. What y'all doing today?" I asked noticing they were both dressed.

"We are going to meet your brothers for breakfast." Daddy said.

"Why nobody invited me?" I pouted.

"Aww Princess." My daddy said. "You want to come?" He asked.

"No. It's okay. If they wanted me to come they would have invited me." I concluded.

"You sure?" My mom asked. I nodded my head.

"Alright then sweetie. Call me when you leave from the house so we know what you're up to." My dad said.

"Daddy I'm twenty one." I reminded.

"You're still my little princess." He insisted.

"Alright, well princess needs money." I said smiling.

"Princess is twenty one." My dad pointed out.

I gave him an appalled facial expression causing him to laugh. "Here." He said giving me a couple bills." I put money on your card as well." He told me.
