𝗐𝗁𝖾𝗇 𝗉𝖾𝗈𝗉𝗅𝖾 𝖺𝗌𝗄 𝗆𝖾 𝗐𝗁𝗒 𝗂'𝗆 𝗂𝗇𝗍𝗈 𝗒𝗈𝗎 - (𝖺.𝗄)

you and alex had been dating for a while, and you realised that you did in fact love him. everyone thought you were stupid or blind for dating him, they all said he was a jerk, and that you deserve better, but they didn't know him like you did.

"hey" you smiled, as you walked over to the bar, at joe's to sit down next to alex.

"hey" he said, as he took a sip of his beer. "oh, do you want a beer?" he asked you and you just nodded.

"look alex, i need to tell you something" you sighed, as you turned your body to face him.

"go ahead" he said, looking at you.

you took a deep breath, before starting. "we've been dating for a few weeks now, and of course we were friends before that. but... oh screw it i'm just gonna say it" you said. "i love you, alex"

"you what?" he questioned with furrowed eyebrows.

"yeah, i love you" you nodded nervously. "and it's okay, if you don't feel the same way.."

"no it's just. everyone hates me, they all think i'm a jerk" he stated.

"i know they do" you chuckled. "but, they don't know you, how i know you" you told him. "you know, people ask me what i see in you" you nodded. "and all i do is smile and look away, because i worry that if they knew the alex that i know, they would fall in love with you too"

alex instantly leant in and began kissing you passionately. "i love you too" he whispered, before kissing you again.
