Secret| Baldwin X Reader *Requested*

Baldwin having a secret vampire mate was requested by Amber1100.

You step down from your families jet and are greeted by your second favorite vampire, Marcus.

"I assume you're giving me a ride?" you ask as you reach the young vampire.  "Not that I'm complaining, I love spending time with you."

"Thanks, Y/n.  And to answer your question, yes I am the one who will be giving you a ride."

You slide into the passenger side of Marcus' car as the said vampire slide into the opposite.

Marcus sniffs, "Who do I smell?"

"Pardon?"

"Who have you been hanging around with?"

You frown.

"I thought it was just the air outside, but it's you."

"It's probably just the people on my plane."

"It can't be, because this scent is familiar."

"The people on the plane don't really change out."

"Wait!  Did you mate?"

You turn towards the young vampire, "Me?"

"You did!"

"No!"

"You're lying!"

"Am not!"

"If you say so," Marcus says skeptically.

The rest of the ride was silent.

"Y/n!" Gallowglass exclaims.

"Gallowglass!" you say, equally excited.

Gallowglass rushes towards you, before stopping a foot away from you.

"What is it?" you question.

"You've mated," the vampire gasps.

"I knew it!" Marcus says climbing out of the car.

"I don't know what either of you are talking about," you scoff.

"Y/n's totally mated," Gallowglass mutters to Marcus.

"I can still hear you!"

"What's this about mating?" Matthew asks, stepping outside the house.

"Nothing!" you exclaim.

"Y/n's mated!" Marcus replies at the same time.

"Have you now?" Matthew asks, approaching

"Nope!" you reply, adamant.

"What's going on out here?" Baldwin asks.

You smile at the vampire.

"There is a chance that Y/n might have a mate," Matthew explains.

Gallowglass sniffs the air, "And I think I might have an idea who."

Everyone whirls on Gallowglass.

"Who?" questions Marcus.

Gallowglass smiles, showing his pearly whites, "That's for them to tell."

Everyone had noticed the change in your scent, and stayed away, much to your dismay.

Marcus kept questioning Gallowglass, who kept deflecting.

"Y/n," Baldwin chuckles.

"Yes?"

"You have something on your face," Baldwin steps closer to you.

Your hands fly to your mouth and Baldwin chuckles again.

"Here, let me," Baldwin's fingers graze your lips.

"Baldwin!" gasps Ysabeau.

The two of you jump apart.

"Y/n has mated!  And Y/n why did you let him get so close to you?" Ysabeau scolds.

You pause, glancing at Baldwin.

"Well?" questions Ysabeau.

"He's my mate," you say.

"Pardon?" Ysabeau sputters.

Apparently everyone else heard and rushed into the room.

Your secret mate wasn't so secret anymore.
