"w-what??"

Is this the end of my life?
I'm dying.
And I don't want to leave him.

He is the love of my life. We'd been dating for 2 years since high school. Being his lover is not that easy—he's the school heart throb until we got into the same university, it's still the same. He was adored by all girls in our campus and guess what?

He protected me from being hurt by his fans.

That's why I kept falling for him.

But me?

I never had a gut to tell him that I suffered from heart disease.

It's hurt,
I know.

I have this disease since birth and I knew everything about it.

But seeing he cries about me would hurt myself more.

The doctor handed me some more medicines as he smiled.

"just keep moving forward y/n, we will help you no matter what happen" the doctor said, making me smiled weakly.

"thanks doc, I appreciate it" I replied her sentence- didn't even realised that I was crying as I wiped my tears away. I bowed to the doc for one last time, getting out from the room.

Sighed.

When I could tell this to him?

I walked in the hospital hallway, thinking about how am I going to tell him as someone suddenly appeared in front of me—making me stopped my pace too.

"y/n?"

I looked up and saw—

"e-eo? Sangyeon-ah, w-what are you d-doing here?"

I stuttered as he smiled, giving a peck on my forehead

"I'm going to see my aunt here, what are you doing here babe?"

I quickly covered my plastic of medicine. I beamed.

"uhm, just taking some meds for my mom"

"your mom is sick? I should visit your home soo—"

"she's fine! I mean... she's getting better now"

I said, sweeping away my nervous feeling from my heart. He nodded as he ruffled my hair.

"then, I'll get going first, I love you"

"I love you too Sangyeon" I gave a peck on his cheek as he left, entering the hospital area.

8.55 a.m.

"hey shorty!"

Someone wrapped his arm on my shoulder on my way into the campus, making me recognised who was it.

"yah Lee Jaehyun, get off your hands from me"

Lee Jaehyun,

One and only guy best friend for me.

We'd became best friend since primary school and he was the one who helped me to date Sangyeon.

He's like a brother to me and he's the one who always with me if Sangyeon wasn't.

I glad that he is the best, best friend I ever had.

"why why? Is there something happened to you?"

I pouted looking adown as he stopped my pace.

"y/n-ah, what's wrong?did Sangyeon hyung hurt you or--"

"I can't live longer, Jaehyun"

Till then, I broke into tears as soon as he embraced me.

"Jaehyun, I-i'm dying... I don't want to l-leave him"

I sobbed as he caressed my hair.

"shhh, don't cry... please"

He kept caressing my hair as he brought me to take a sit. As I stopped crying, he cupped my cheeks, making me to see his face as he looked so worried.

"don't be like this please, everyone would think I made you cried"

We both looked around as we could see some students looked weirdly at us. I chuckled in silence, making him gleamed.

"there, you need to smile more"

"thanks Jae, thanks for comforting me"

"hey, I'm your best friend okay? I would do anything for you"

The sentence making me gleamed more as he replied my smile, patting my hair.

"now let's go ... we're late for class"

"my y/n what are you doing??"

My mom came into my room as she sat on my bed.

"I just finished showering mom... by the way, can you help me?"

I spoke, handed her a comb as she smiled.

"sure honey"

I sat in front of her as she started to comb my hair. We both chatted about my achievement in at my uni as suddenly my mom stopped combing my hair.

"mom, did you finish combin—"

"y-y/n..."

My mom hold something as she handed to me.

What?

It couldn't be like this.

"yah Kim y/n, is that you?"

I looked beside as Jaehyun approached me.

"oh hey"

"what's with the short hair? I thought that you don't like it"

"nah, j-just trying this way"

Sorry Jae,

I need to lie this time.

As we both walked to the class, I looked at my phone.

Where's Sangyeon btw?

I'd never meet him since we met at the hospital before. He also didn't keep messaging me as usual.

Is he fine?

Gosh, I missed him.

As I finished my class, I messaged Sangyeon to meet me at the library but he didn't read it, so I decided to wait him there.

    I walked into the library calmly and then, I suddenly stopped walking when I saw something unexpected happened.

"S-Sangyeon?"
